Suunto Software Update Q2 Hotfix 2.56.28 Race 2 and Vertical 2
-
@2b2bff Yes, I understand, but this has always worked correctly on all my Suuntos and various firmwares, so it doesn’t seem right to me. I’ll definitely survive it

@Martin-Vrska probably you missed my sarcasm there. I see this pattern far too often these days…

Another restart today after I checked the morning log.
My watch came back from the Suunto service center yesterday because of the restarts. They returned it without a hotfix (they replaced the battery and the barometer sensor—I don’t understand why, but OK). Yesterday evening I updated to 2.56.28, and this morning it restarted again.
I sent the log via SA.

So nothing new for the “bluetooth sensor drop during trainings” issue?
Does anyone know something about this?

@Inge-Nallsson you are right. This was my omission coming back from vacation and being a bit overwhelmed. (thats also why this post was delayed)
Race 2 and Vertical 2 -> added it to the topic

This issue is occuring on all recent suunto watches since end of last year. I reported it many times to suunto (for my race s). Only half july I got the message that suunto support passed the message to suunto developers. The next time I got the message suunto developers passed in on to the bluetooth firmware developers. Since then, it’s silent. Suunto support told me they would inquire about the status and keep me up to date, but I heard nothing.
The last time I complained Suunto support told me not to expect a fix in a firmware update anytime soon.

@runyx17 can you send me the email associated with your account in private? I will open a bug report for your crash, apparently it is something else that was not fixed with the update.

Just updated today… it took a very long time… about 25 minutes… I will test it the next days for my holiday training walks after my knee injury 🤩
