      Hi

I would like to suggest a simple but very useful feature that would improve the safety and convenience of using the smartwatch during sports activities: an alert when the Bluetooth connection with the smartphone is interrupted.

**Use Case & User Benefit **
This feature would be very useful to prevent users from accidentally leaving their smartphone behind or losing it during sports activities.

For example, while running, cycling, hiking, or working out, the smartphone may fall out of a pocket or bag without the user noticing. A vibration on the smartwatch as soon as the Bluetooth connection is lost would provide an immediate and discreet warning.

This would also be useful when the user walks away from their smartphone and unintentionally leaves it behind.

      Expected Behavior

The smartwatch continuously monitors the Bluetooth connection with the paired smartphone.
As soon as the Bluetooth connection is lost, the watch vibrates to alert the user.
Optionally, the watch could also display a short notification such as “Phone disconnected”.
The alert should only be triggered after a brief configurable delay (for example, 3–5 seconds) to avoid unnecessary alerts caused by temporary Bluetooth interruptions.
Ideally, users should be able to enable/disable this feature and configure the vibration behavior.

      Why This Feature Matters

This is a simple but highly practical safety and convenience feature that can help users avoid losing or forgetting their smartphone during sports activities and everyday use.

It would also improve the overall integration between the smartwatch and smartphone.

… this functionality is already available on a competitor’s smartwatch.

@skh8634 I would extend this monitoring to HR strap, footpod and powermeter. HR belt might get lost not very easily 😄 but footpod happened to me once (Stryd) as the clip was worn out and powermeter would be nice as I lost connection during a break on the weekend and some two hours of cycling power data / cadence were not recorded.
Wahoo (ANT+) recorded all data, so it must have been the connection to the watch…
