Hi Suunto team,
I wanted to share a feature request that could improve the experience for many users on the Vertical 2.
Currently, the watch displays active calories through widgets and complications, but it does not provide an option to view total daily calories (resting + active) in the same way. Adding a widget or complication for total calories would give users a more complete picture of their daily energy expenditure.
Including a simple visual element, such as a fire icon next to the total calories, could also make the information easier to recognize at a glance and more intuitive to track throughout the day.
This type of feature could benefit a wide range of users who are focused on fitness, weight management, or general health tracking, making the data more accessible and useful.
Thank you for your continued efforts in improving the platform and listening to user feedback.

Within the widget that shows your steps and calories there is a small line showing your total calories. Or isn’t that what you asked for?

Under active calories, there is the total calories.
However, if you train with another watch, those calories are not added, not even in the app.

@2b2bff I know there a spot at the bottom that show total but there’s not widget to show that. I was wondering if they can implement a widget that that total number of calories and not have it as a widget with active. Some users will rather know total calories.

@Emmanuel-Gutierrez yeah, maybe. But I think that you can do something about the steps and active calories, but nothing about the passive ones. So, you see actionable items in that widget front and centre…
