@Thaler-Martin I come from Garmin, and Amazfit too. At the moment, my Race 2 is on par with Amazfit considering sleep tracking, but slightly more in line with my feelings. Clearly, Suunto is better, for me, at tracking sleep time and HR. HRV is quite equal. The worst is Garmin for me, considering sleep time accuracy and sleep score. HRV interpretation is also worse on Garmin (it takes too much time to adapt to new baseline fluctuation caused by seasons and training load, giving wrong alert in HRV status).
Btw, I’m quite new with the Race 2, and have 2 nights to go before receiving HRV status.

        @nathayogi
1.wachzeiten erkennung viel besser suunto fast keine

As far as I remember, Race 2 has two main issues with sleeping (and napping):

            • Reading in a bed is recognized as a sleep (not happening with Garmin), easily adding 1-2 hours of sleep, causing issues with the calculation of Resources and other metrics
            • Working at the desk, with a computer (even a standing desk) was recognised as naps many times

No possibility to edit sleep length is a miss I guess.
Fixing the above and sync - I am more than happy to jump on the Suunto board again.

              Hey everyone in here 🙂
New to Suunto with a Race 2, a week old. Experiencing the same thing since yesterday. Only for Recovery Metric (and +/- 1 point in Resources).
But Recovery says 25 on the watch. Was 48 when I went to sleep. Was 50 last morning. In app is now say 40. Was 66 when I went to sleep. And was also 50 in the morning.

So sometime during yesterday, the whole thing broke. 50 in the morning was already off, but it’s only been going downhill from there.

Chatted with Support, and while the guy was very assisting, his advise of waiting 60 days for the watch to get to know me didn’t really help.

Is the 60 days a thing?

To add context, I wasn’t working out Wednesday, so this morning it really should have increased. Further, my Resources are almost never below 80.

I’m not a slave to algorithms, and I go by feel as well, but what’s the point of buying tech is tech isn’t teching?

@vinterben yeah you should give it at least two weeks 24/7 for resources to get better. Recovery includes even more metrics and is more of a long term metric. And you can have high resources and low recovery and the other way around.

                Race S
