@Tami999 same issue, seems like we got same problems with this version as vertical 2 had in launch software. Also Suunto app doesn’t synchronize automatically always anymore, sometimes needs screen wake up and some scrolling to widgets, otherwise it says watch is busy.

@Tami999 My watch had the same behaviour. I reverted back to the former version 2.46.4 which was ok. Then I updated to the latest 2.46.14. Since then it seems ok. I am testing it.
No luck. The issue is still here.
Which one to choose? Not recording heart rate or not responding buttons. Both happened to my watch.

I did rollback to 2.26.4 and so far problem solved. I won’t update since only one time HR stopped work for me on this version. On new version buttons problem happens all the time.

I have this button problem after update. Moreover, I locked the watch for some time using lower button and cannot unlock in some time, cannot do anything with watch. I had to do a reset. This is very annoying. How can I return back to previous version?

Setting, general, information, scroll down to the list and than press and hold lower button like for 5s.
Hidden menu will show. Find ,Select OTA pkg". There You will find all versions of updates You ever had. You can choose older. I heard it’s not recommend to do rollback, but I did it many times on my three Suunto watches and nothing wrong happened.

Oh and be careful because under ,Select OTA pkg" option is option ,Delete saved pkgs" that as it says it delete versions of update, and if I good remember if You click that by mistake it won’t ask about confirm! So watch out when You scroll :D.

              1000000897.jpg

CURRENT 1 is older one, You can see version of update In its name.

Since the update, I’m experiencing exactly the same issue. I’ve had to restart the watch multiple times already. When this happens, it doesn’t sync with the app either—it just shows that the device is busy.

@newegor I’m experiencing the same issue: after locking, I can’t unlock it. I can’t connect to the app. I have to reset it.
I just got back. There are so many bugs.

@Tami999 this going to sound odd but could you scroll up on that screen so I can see the entire file name? I accidentally delete all the prior firmware and I’m having this issue and would like to downgrade.

In addition to the button locking issue, I have observed two other problems:

Sometimes it doesn’t sync with the app and shows that the watch is busy. It won’t sync until you randomly press buttons and turn the crown.

More worryingly, I’ve also noticed that the battery life has significantly decreased. Before the update, it could take up to 7 days to drop below 30% battery. Now, with the same usage, I’m already at 30% after just 3 days.😢

If You Guys deleted/dont have specific version, iam not sure but I think i saw somehow on forum You can choose and download any version You want, and download it to Your phone & sync and install.

In past long time ago i accidently deleted all versions (delete ota pkg option dont ask for confirm :D)

@Tami999 may I ask you a screen shot with the name of the 1_current ? With the full name we could have url

                                Edit found it 2.46.4 : https://firmware.geo.movescount.com/production/Wismar-fw_2.46.4.25276-U-6542ddd7.sof

                                and the current one 2.46.14 : https://firmware.geo.movescount.com/production/Wismar-fw_2.46.14.26212-U-a994f63c.sof

Your screenshot was enough to find the proper URL with some guessing thanks a lot 😉

I also noticed high current draw. 10% of battery per one day just wearing and not doing any sports . On previous FW it was not so high.

Hello, I am a new Race 2 user. I received the watch with version 2.41.38 and the first update downloaded version 2.46.14, so I cannot revert to version 2.46.4 because it was never installed on my watch

How could I transfer the firmware Wismar-fw_2.46.4.25276-U-6542ddd7.sof from firmware.geo.movescount.com to my watch?

I don’t see any options in the Suunto app on Android, the Race 2 is not listed among the watches compatible with the SuuntoLink app, and connecting via USB to my Mac does not seem to allow me to access the watch files.

@newegor I’m guessing it has something to do with the “busy” bug happening. I downgraded from 2.46.14 back to 2.46.4 and the drain and “busy” error went away. My guess is something is running in the background draining the battery and making the watch seem busy.
