Have someone tried 60 seconds upper button reset? I think it worked for my Vertical.
The watch must be on the charger. You have to press and keep pressed the upper button for 60 seconds. It will reboot after 12 seconds, but you must keep pressing the button. It will perform several reboots. Take the time with a clock. I pressed for 62 seconds to be sure.
My watch used to discharge 12% about every day.
After this I came back to 3% about.
And after months I didn’t see 100% battery but only 99%, it finally now fully charge up to 100%.

Hi, I’ve tried this option, but for my Race watch.
Unfortunately, it didn’t solve the issue.
Also, tried hard reset on weekend, at first I thought that it was a solution, but after a night with sleep tracking, the battery was drained about 25-30%.

hope that the next update will fix this issue

I walked for a total of 6 hours over the weekend with the HR Belt. I also used it as a watch for two days, with sleep tracking and notifications turned on.
I left Saturday morning at 100%, and when I got home Sunday night, it was at 80%. I think that’s a decent battery drain.
But every Belt battery was at 100%, and after 6 hours of use, it was at 70%. 🙂

I tried an hard and a soft reset and it didn’t solved the battery drain problem. After some hikes of 3 hours at the weekend the battery doesn’t last even a week. In my opinion not acceptable

This affects also other watches, not only Vertical.

For me, on a Race 1, the battery drain actually seems quite a bit worse after the update. “For what it’s worth”.

Same problem for me. battery drains à around 1% an hour during daytime, 0.5% per hour during the night.

I’m pretty unlucky since I already had a sync problem last year with a new update.

support recommended a hard reset. Anybody done that?

This is the situation after the last 100% charge on September 17.
On September 25 I installed the update, and in the following days I didn’t do any sports due to illness.
The battery consumption still seems very high to me, as I was used to much longer battery life until June

@OutdoorMan Well you would lose all your recorded data without any garantee that the reset will fix the problem

@Stefan-Kersting basically a factory reset = all data gone, I believe you’ll need to calibrate your HRV for two weeks and such things. So nope.
