You can stop (throught parameters) and restart the watch
what do you mean with “You can stop (throught parameters) and restart the watch”, doing a hard reset?
thanks! -
I’ve decided to send my watch back to suunto after talking to suunto support. Let’s see what they come back with.

@gone-troppo let us know!

@gone-troppo Be patient, in total it’s been more than two months since the first repair, now it’s been another month since I sent it to be repaired for the second time, and they don’t know when it will be ready, Suunto’s repair service is a disgrace… it’s going to be the last time I buy a product from this brand, in my case Suunto Vertical Titanium

On Vertical :
Parameters->general->stop the watch
Then restart (6s on upper right button)In English:
Settings > General > Power offBut you can simply achieve the same by holding the top button for about 12 seconds to restart / soft reset.

Oh no I don’t want to hear this what the heck!!! I don’t know what else to do my $1000 plus watch I bought two years ago went through another 36% battery in last 24 hours it’s stuffed. I will likely be moving away from sunnto after this watch as well. My ambit 3 peak is a more reliable unit then the vertical more than 10 years old.

Have someone tried 60 seconds upper button reset? I think it worked for my Vertical.
You have to press and keep pressed the upper button for 60 seconds. It will reboot after 12 seconds, but you must keep pressing the button. It will perform several reboots. Take the time with a clock. I pressed for 62 seconds to be sure.
My watch used to discharge 12% about every day.
After this I came back to 3% about.
And after months I didn’t see 100% battery but only 99%, it finally now fully charge up to 100%. -

Hi, I’ve tried this option, but for my Race watch.
Unfortunately, it didn’t solve the issue.
Also, tried hard reset on weekend, at first I thought that it was a solution, but after a night with sleep tracking, the battery was drained about 25-30%.hope that the next update will fix this issue

I walked for a total of 6 hours over the weekend with the HR Belt. I also used it as a watch for two days, with sleep tracking and notifications turned on.
I left Saturday morning at 100%, and when I got home Sunday night, it was at 80%. I think that’s a decent battery drain.
But every Belt battery was at 100%, and after 6 hours of use, it was at 70%.
