      Hi

I been using the watch for a good while now and love the athletic part of it, the freedive part could need some needed attn.

There is three schenarios when freediving in the ocean, recreational, hunting and depth. They all need a bit different options and should be configurable for the mode.

One configurable option im missing, surface time multiplier, when you dive the tumb rule is surface time 2x dive time to prevent nitrogen buildup over time and have a safe session. For deep dive and hunting because of the nature of how far you might be diving or pushing yourself its often you use 3x dive time for safety. Same for very deep dives you should not do more then 3 dives above 50 meters pr day and it would be great having a proper table for this so its more dynamic to warn people about closing on the limit. Even better would be to implement the new algorithms to dynamically calculate surface time that is coming to the new watches these days.

For feedback on the other stuff, I havent checked the during the dive stuff as its not used by freedivers, you just dont check your watch under water for hunt and deep dives atleast, but that makes the sufrface display the more important, I would like to be able to see my last dives depth and divetime, and a countdown (pref in red) to my programmed surface time down to zero and then switch to counting upwards to show the surface time like now, nice to have is to have the option to see surface temp and bottom temp in its own page by switching the metrics as its not important for the session itself.

I would also like to be able to set my own alert alarms, for instance from the app config the mode to have a 1 hour warning and alarm that shows drink! together with an alarm to remind me to hydrate, being able to do this would greatly enhance the freedive mode to something usable for all categories of ocean diving. Pool apnea diving however needs to be adressed differently and not by this mode if its to be supported.

I do not see heartrate on screen would be very important, but a good metric when you check statistics on apnea deep dives hindside for the people who dont use a suit 🙂

@Klaus-Myrseth Noticed another one talking freedive mode: https://forum.suunto.com/topic/12397/suggestions-for-freedive-mode-after-update-q4-2-38-42

Think consolidating these two would be nice.
