How to keep wrist HR setting OFF in specific sport modes?
-
Did you already try a soft reset ?
-
Yes, but it does not solve the problem.
-
it is just not remembered.

@Dimitrios-Kanellopoulos
Really ? -
@sartoric yes idk why

@Dimitrios-Kanellopoulos
Ohhh maybe I see now , @Traveler do you mean as a default value when you create a sport mode ?I have a “Walk” custom mode with OHR always disabled
Maybe is some S5 relatedbugfeature ? -
@Traveler did you try a custom battery mode with no hr?

Really? But as I wrote before, some modes I have been using for several months keep HR off.
@sartoric
No, I mean the value when I use a sport mode.@Łukasz-Szmigiel
Yes, and the results are the same.
Btw, HR setting is out of battery mode setting (as at least for S5).To clarify the situation, I wrote it in detail below.
- Make new walk-based custom sport mode from iOS Suunto App.
- Open menu > Exercise > Select the sport mode made in step.1 > option > turn wrist HR off > battery mode > custom > set GPS to OK & Display timeout to off > select > start
- End the exercise > go back to home (clock look mode)
- Open menu again > Exercise > Select the sport used in step.2 > Check the settings and they are HR “ON” and battery “custom”
However, in terms of a custom walk mode I have been using for some months (and that has the same settings with step.2 above), do step.4 and it keeps HR “OFF.”
I assume that this is not a feature but a bug.

@Traveler I wonder if it’s related to other custom battery mode bug I’ve encountered. Maybe custom battery mode is broken in S5 if using non-default parameters (ie. that can’t fit well into endurance or performance modes logic).

@Łukasz-Szmigiel Maybe you are right. I hope (both) bug(s?) will be fixed soon.
Thank you for all of you.
