Stopping activity with one click when activity's target is reached (Distance or duration)
-
Hi, there is one a bit annoying bug or poor UX issue with Suunto 9 Baro when using a target (Distance or duration) for activity.
The issue is when you reach your target, it’s not possible to stop the activity immediately with one click. To stop it, you should press the middle button to change the screen or wait for ~10 seconds until the goal message is disappearing from the screen and only then you can stop your activity.
I sometimes like to set targets to reach a more consistent and targeted training plan goals, in this case, it’s not a big deal if I stop my activity seconds sooner or later. However, sometimes I’m targeting more strict targets for one or another reason and stopping activity immediately after the goal is 100% reached with more then one click or waiting extra 10 seconds is a bit annoying. If I’m right, I think the similar issue was with auto laps announcements, but this is fixed now and you can stop activity during new auto lap announcement with one click. -
@Gints-Grinbergs had a similar issue when skiing.
It’s counting the number of downhills.
It you reach the bottom and want to get your time there is no way to dismiss the downhill count display…
At least it’s been like this - have reported it and not checked recently… -
@Egika
in general dismissing notification from the watch should be able to dismiss…
I also once could not unlock and stop when it said that I’ve reached my finish position -
@TELE-HO in general you are correct. Many Informations can easily be dismissed with the middle button.
Not so the downhill lap information in skiing.
As I said - I reported it a year ago or so.
