Hi
Please give the option to measure HRV on demand, take morning and evening readings .
Sometimes my watch not recording sleeping due new born feeding pattern so In order to get hrv reading I need to go outside to different platforms.

I isazi moved this topic from Feature Suggestions
-
I managed to find a workaround to disable (the for me useless) morning report and that also disables HRV.
But tbh, I don’t mind. HRV measuring with a wrist optical sensor isn’t that accurate. You might say that measuring it daily in the same situation might give you some trend info. But in your case that pattern isn’t present.
(And there is an other rabbithole with HRV: the scientific research that is used to claim importance of HRV is done on people with an illness, not on healthy people and it is not clear you can draw the same conclusions for healthy people)

@elbee hi I used Heart rate monitor but would like to have the option to do it with additional accessory i agree that WHR is useless but if you take with chest strap its useful
-
At least we got your requirement a little clearer: you want on demand HRV with an external monitor.
-
@elbee would be great to have the choice
-
Personally, I would rather have suunto developers work on bugfixing and releasing firmwares for slightly older watches.
I have no use for HRV, regular or on demand.
-
@elbee totally agree, but those 2 does not need to go against each other, but if according to waht they said there are only 3 developers something need to happen.
Currently with the Race 2 I can only track my runs that it. There is no other use, my cycling are done by rouvy . I use external non suunto sensors.

@Elad-Solomon the thing with three developers is a joke. That’s not real.
-
@martintrail great to hear that tbh so if they have sufficient amount of developer bug fixing and other features can be done simultaneously priority based of course
