@Danny-poleg ok, quite a good solution. Seems like a functional workaround 😁.
Any idea how to make that work with a concept 2 rower?
Maybe could work like that as well there.

Unfortunately, I don’t know the device, does it have BT transmission

@Danny-poleg yes it has Bluetooth and Ant+.
But what I can’t figure out is when connecting the HR strap to the rower via bluetooth or Ant+ if I will be able to connect a second device, e.g. the watch, and track the workout.
Thanks for your help, checking already if someone has experience with that on google and YouTube.

In addition, I think it would be good if the Suunto watches could connect natively to the Concept 2 (PM5?) as my 4 year old Coros did - then you can have all the indoor rowing info on the watch.
I suggested this some time ago, but nothing yet.
As one of the most widely used indoor training devices (and a great sport in it’s own right), I really think this would be a good add for Suunto (as well as multiple BT devices…)

SV Ti All Black, Coros Apex Pro, Ambit 3 Peak, Ambit 3 Sport (sold), Ambit 2 (Sold), X10 Mi (Retired), Quest (Sold), T3 (Sold), T6C (Retired as unfixable - Suunto gave me a big discount on Ambit 2!), Polar H10 belt, Suunto Smart Belt

@Swaddy61 I totally agree. This would be very helpful and I guess it could maybe be fixed with a software update.
DC Rainmaker also mentioned these things in his Race S review, so maybe Suunto has an eye on that, fingers crossed.

@daveathletic said in Ability to broadcast HR:

the ability to broadcast your heart rate
Totally agree! The missing ability to broadcast heart rate is the only reason I did not yet purchase the Race S 😞

@Egika what we need is an accountconnection between concept2 and Suunto for REAL measuring as same as running.
