@Eliseev-PA there were some rumors, that 26.1 should have this bug fixed, but someone in other thread informed, that he’s using 26.1 beta and the issue persists 😕

Vo2 max auto tag bug seems to be fixed ; went (at last) running this morning (trail race) and auto tag is ok (hard anaerobic).

Did your pace zones change post update? Can you check in the app this latest run vs. some previous run?

@Tieutieu for me unfortunately not - I am still “VO2 max” instead of “Aerobic”. Very disappointed … I will proceed to try to ignore it as usual.
Note: have not heard from the four friends (Suunto users) affected by this, too (2 X Race, 1 x Race S, 1 x Vertical). As I don’t want to be (mostly silent) blamed by them for convincing them to buy a Suunto

I had a little walk yesterday, and a little run today… the behavior of my SV was as expected… I didn’t notice any issues… I‘m really happy 🤩

Two problems with the latest update so far:

              1. No more off-track-warnings! This is really annoying because nothing changed for navigation.

              2. During one long hiking activity my SV rebooted. Fortunately I recognised it because of the vibration and the activity was saved. I had to start a second one and the activity is split now. Not so nice and I hope this happens no more.

I recognize both beeping and vibrating and the watch does not show anything. I really don’t know why it is beeping and vibrating after the update.

@Shrek3k older activities have not changed. I’ll see if next runs are ok. I had tried to change the pace zones, but with the settings I have set my race should have been tagged has long aerobic. Hard aerobic is clearly linked to my HR

Any estimate when Race 2 get this feature ?? I was amazed today that second most expensive suunto watch miss this and recorded distance is 2km off thanks to that. That is 10% inaccurate. Even 5 year old Suunto 5 has it, and if I remember correctly Ambit 2 had it too. I have official bike sensor from suunto so I don’t understand why it is not there already in Race 2 firmware. Even user manual refers to it.

Btw i don’t care so much about distance from this pod. I mainly need cadence so maybe is it possible somehow take distance from GPS but cadence from pod? At least until it is fixed ?

Understood. I did a ‘new’ run (10,1 km) after the update, which still is on VO2max with an average HR of 126 and 5:32min/km.
Checking the next run (unfortunately due to work/travel only next Tuesday or Wednesday).1000073963.png

Got the Update on my 9PP
Great, the multi sensor works, and the battery display of the sensor is a nice addition.
                            But :

                            • I also got all my zones resets, which led to a few “VO2MAX” auto tag (how difficult is it to save the previous zone ? seriously ? or at least re-calculate it based on Vo2max ?
                            • my HR sensor turned off this morning, rebooting the watch fixed the issue…

But would you PLEASE do some actual QA ? it’s frustrating that every single release in the last 2 years is accompanied by multiple new bugs, it’s not that hard !

@soisan I hope I have the right information (lost in translation might be an option).
And no: I had not adapted the power / and or pace-zones ever before, as I expect(ed), that the App uses the defined/adapted HR-zones (only).
Otherwise I expect to receive a strong recommendation that SA is unusable if not all zones are adapted (HR, power, pace) which will most probably make SA nearly unusable for all amateurs and every-day-users. Just my two cents.

I had the same thought: for the past 2 years, updates have corrected some bugs and added new features, but the most frustrating thing is that bugs appear in functions that didn’t have any problems.
It’s a surprise with every update and it’s becoming tiresome. I’ve had Suunto watches for 20 years and I’ve always been satisfied, but now I’m starting to get tired of playing the tester and I am increasingly considering going to see at other brands.

Anyone can confirm if with the last 2 FW on SV you can see the footpod icon when about to start an activity?

I remember I used to have 3 icons: heart, gps and this third (I can’t remember the shape). Now the pod icon is gone, even if the pod is connected and actually records the workout.

@Shrek3k Your expectations are one thing and I agree they are reasonable. The right classification of your activities under the current state of the app is another thing though. If you want to have it, you must adapt your pace and power zones at the watch.

Update was successfully installed on the Vertical Solar. Nothing noticed yet, except that a personalized sport mode is missing again. When will you finally get that done, I don’t understand anymore.

I have a Suunto Vertical and I also have personalized sports modes, and none of them have been deleted during any of the updates. I’ve had the watch since February. I created the personalized activity about 5 months ago.
