Suunto Run restarts during activity

After the last firmware update I had my Suunto Run restarting during an activity twice. Both times been during the running activity. After the watch is restarted it continues the activity, but it lost some of the tracking while it was restarting. It also seem to be adding 5km or so during the restarts. Very happy with the watch otherwise, but the random restarting is quite frustrating.

@Kriss Run continues the activity after rebooting automatically? Would be great if Race does this, as well. Have my Race now about 15 months. Happend about five times during running in this timespan. But I have to start activity manually after recognizing, the reboot.

@Kriss it happened to me as well after updating last fw update but in my case after rebooting activity did not start again and the session was not saved. Fortunately it happened once in 2 months of use.

@Kriss I’ve been using Suunto Run since launch and never faced any reboots, I’d say try a factory reset and if that doesn’t do it, you might be better contacting service.

@herlas hi, I’ve already tried that and unfortunately service told me to do exactly what you suggested

@herlas Didnt try factory reset, hoping the new update 3.19.18 solves the issue. If not guess I will try to reset it.

Also wonder how many days of battery life people are getting? I seem to get about 4 days with sleep tracking on and performance mode (with the previous firmware, not sure it the new one will improve it yet).

I run every day for an hour with the chest strap, HR 24/7 with the sleep/HRV functions activated, no aod, no notifications, always performace mode when training, which means ~10% per day. The latest update seems pretty good in terms of battery life.
