Can't connect to wifi to upload maps
-
Re: Can’t connect to wifi or hotspot I’ve tried all the solutions I’ve seen in the forum as simplifying the name of the SSID, creating a hot spot with my laptop, looking for different wifi origins… but independently of what I do, the app always tells “It hasnt been possible to conect to the web. You may solve the problem restarting the router” I’ve done it too, restarting router, and have done a reset to the Vertical too… but nothing worked.
Anybody knows how to solve this problem? Thanks a lot for any help on this issue!
It would be much easier if the maps could be uploaded directly into the app phone or if you could administrate directly wifi connection in the watch, witthout the mobile, I’ll ask Suunto to think into this possibilities. Very often you dont find wifi available. -
@Juanma-Montero the only way I succeeded to overcome this problem was to downgrade my Vertical to the previous firmware version and then wifi started working.
Go to Settings -> General -> About or Information -> scroll all the way down and then press the lower button for a few seconds. You get to a hidden menu; scroll down to Select OTA package and choose the older one.
