Software update 2.39.20 (2024 Q4)
-
@Łukasz-Szmigiel I can confirm this bug. Soft reset fixed it for me, at least temporarily. Didn’t have time to reproduce it because I downgraded. Media controls, control panel scaling and wifi connection problems were a bit too much.

@BrunoH thanks, good to know it’s not an isolated issue.

I have had issues with notifications since Android 15 update, when I got the watch one year ago all notifications were flawless, now I’m missing Whatsapp, signal, sometimes text messages.
Using a pixel 8 with Android 15 on it, and I have downgraded to 2.37.48 on my watch. I never noticed and notifications improvements on the latest firmware, I was too busy to soft reseting the watch several times a day to get the ohr to function.

Any further update on this - why was my watch updated when I have automatic updates turned off in the App (version 2.40.2 (17627))?

Thanks - would it be helpful to send logs from the App?

The thing is - I can see what media is being played, but only the controls are grayed out.
did you tried to stop the SA, clear its cache, and restart it?
this solves the grayed out music controls problem for me, not sure if clearing the cache is really necessary -
@Stefano-M64 I’ve tried soft resetting the watch, resetting bt, and forcing the SA closed and cleaning the cache. I just didn’t reinstall it.
I’m not sure what broke it though - Android 15 or latest firmware.

or latest firmware.
I’m on the latest one on both Race and Race S and music controls work (android 13)
-
@Łukasz-Szmigiel I’m on Android 13 and Race with the latest firmware. I do not often use quick responses via the watch, but the last two times I tried, they failed (even if the green screen appeared on the watch as if the message was sent)
-
@SergioB same here - the watch behaves as if all was sent, but in fact - it doesn’t.
