@dulko79 I updated my S9PP yesterday and I had no sleep tracked last night. The OHR was off when I took it off my wrist this morning. Both settings were on, though.
OHR turned back on after soft reset. Also, I had an alarm set at 06:00 and it rang at 06:30
After update OHR stopped after one or two hours. After soft reset it works again for that time and stops again reproducable. Never had issues with OHR before.
Exactly the same happened to me on my Race S. I realised this morning after not receiving my sleep metrics. The watch didn’t track sleep and wasn’t updating my resources.
After soft reset, the OHR appeared to be working again. But after a couple of hours it stopped again. I’ve manually turned it off and on again, OHR is working now let’s see for how long!I hope we can get a bugfix soon; it’s rather annoying
I have a question for the others with the OHR disconnecting problem. Did you have the new Christmas face in the watch when that happened?
That’s the only thing that changed yesterday that might explain this situation.
My routine was:
8am - updated the watch
10 am - did a 52 minute workout (all great)
1pm - took a shower, the OHR blinded me as usual when I took my watch off
~6pm - changed the watch face to the Christmas tree one
Today at 7:15am - no daily sleep update, OHR was off
12pm - soft reset, OHR back to work
~3:30pm - I realised OHR wasn’t working again, manually turned it off and on again; I also changed the watch face to the one I previously hadI’ll keep you posted!

@pavel-samokha …installed it this morning, got the Christmas watchface… And it immediately crashed already two times on that watch face.
sad to hear and not expected ofc, could you send logs and remind me in DM your username?
-
OHR problem is known and is being investigated
-
@pavel-samokha Great, thanks for the info!
-
@gerasimos i think he refers to his apple watch ultra?
-
@Francesco-Pagano Same problem. OHR stopped working again today during the day. I’m not sure but on 12:00? After turning the watch off and on again it works normally. Compas does not calibrate itself automatically. So if this update should improve sleep tracking it failed totally for me. I will see next morning. If OHR stop again I will try to find how to get old FW back. Christmas tree is on training device the most important thing…
-
@Dimitrios-Kanellopoulos @pavel-samokha For all those experiencing issues with OHR, I updated my 9PP and wore it sleeping as well as during the day. No gaps or interruptions of OHR. I will keep wearing and testing.
-
@Dario-Lemos I use Christmas tree watchface.
But if I remember correctly, 1st time yesterday when OHR stopped working, I had another watchface (from Race). So I don’t think it depends on it.

@pavel-samokha Good evening, I’m sorry to write off topic, but can you pass on to the developers of the suunto program the following problem, the previous version on android 14 phone oscal s80, the problem is that after updating the program the phone is overloaded when I enter the program. I noticed how I give some permission to the watch in the program, the phone is overloaded when I enter the program, before I reset to factory settings, and then put the program and so on.
-
@Александр-Даниленко Yeah, I guess it’s implausible. It’s probably impossible that it’s related.
I was just curious -
since my last update, the watch RACE seems to be loosing connection with the phone app.
also, the phone notification flashes too fast to be read, and you have to got to the notification in the watch.
before the update, the notification lasted longer.
another thing, during the sleep, the watch stopped measuring HR, and after restarting the watch several time, he started measuring HR again. -

Do you mean that you open Suunto App on your Android 14 phone and it reboots?
-
@pavel-samokha Sorry, I wrote the wrong version of android 12 phone oscal s80, the program works fine on android 11 of another smartphone, but I use oscal s80
-
@dzembronja maybe better to do this in a separate thread. This one is about watch FW update.
Thx -
@dzembronja When I delete the program, the smartphone does not overload itself, in my opinion, when I give permission to some program, it terminates the program or overloads the smartphone, it was in the previous version of the suunto program
-
@Egika I agree with you, but I wrote everywhere they don’t respond to it, and this is generally, and here they may notice, I apologized for writing off topic, but I don’t know what to do

@Александр-Даниленко I thought I could, instead I discovered that I can’t: so annoying

@sebchastang you’re right, Control Panel broke again when I powered off the watch. Let’s see if the elves can fix it again during the night

So after this update I’m noticing that my battery is draining quite a bit faster, I noticed it because I haven’t been training as much as normal but it’s gone down more than it usually would. In the last 24 hours it’s dropped 10% with no training
Aside from that, one run and a walk doesn’t look great with regards to the GPS tracking. Has me drunkenly swerving along roads and not following the route particularly closely, hopefully this is just a coincidence and my next runs are cleaner
