No problems with my S9PP. I had the issue with an earlier firmware, but since the last two updates it seems to be solved.
Same here! (At the moment…)
-
Hi guys, on 9pp, it seems there is a problem with the counting of watch faces installed on the watch, the default one is not considered and therefore when you get to 3/4, it does not install others. On the counting of sleep hours, it also seems to me that they are counted badly, battery life instead perhaps improved slightly (used 30% in two days with an hour of indoor activity without GPS) but I prefer to wait a few charge cycles to see if it has improved/resolved (I did both hard reset and restart, after the firmware update)

Hi @SuperFlo75 @taziden @Александр-Даниленко @Francesco-Pagano @Janne-Leppamaki @The_77
Please send logs via the app and send me a private message with your email address used in the app to check the issue with OHR stop working.
Could you help me out ?
I sent it just now
As additional information, here is the video showing that OHR doesn’t respond at all (even activity start or oxygen blood measurement):

P.S. OHR stopped working 3rd time for the last 2 days.

@kriskus no amount of soft resets or language changes can fix this on my Vertical.
Same issue on my Vertical
Still persists after several reboot/soft reset.
Any advice is welcome. -

Otherwise I will forced to make a firmware downgrade, waiting for a fixing of this annoying bug.
How to make a firmware downgrade?
-
@sebchastang Update: “control panel” works as expected now after powering off the watch, let it rest on the table for 15 minutes and restart it
-
@sebchastang The control panel had fixed itself over night. I powered off twice back then and it didn’t help, the contol panel remained broken. But one good night sleep and it was ok in the morning.
It’s hard to figure out what’s happening. My common sense says that data can be processed with a delay, but how on earth can a faulty UI functionality change after a delay… That’s a mystery to me.
-
@Александр-Даниленко I thought I could, instead I discovered that I can’t: so annoying
-
@BrunoH I also had the same - initially after updating it looked as many here did, but a couple of hours later, it was fine. Hey ho.
-
@BrunoH It is broken again after a power off/on
Can you please confirm it is not broken anymore even after restarting the watch? Thanks for your help. -
@pavel-samokha …installed it this morning, got the Christmas watchface… And it immediately crashed already two times on that watch face.
I couldn’t see it, but two times today already, the watchface switched back to the default watch face… And: when you enter watch faces in the store, it locks and says it’s syncing… Every single time I go to a watch face.
I restarted the device, it happened again.
Seems the quality is not where it should be.

@dulko79 I updated my S9PP yesterday and I had no sleep tracked last night. The OHR was off when I took it off my wrist this morning. Both settings were on, though.
OHR turned back on after soft reset. Also, I had an alarm set at 06:00 and it rang at 06:30
After update OHR stopped after one or two hours. After soft reset it works again for that time and stops again reproducable. Never had issues with OHR before.
Exactly the same happened to me on my Race S. I realised this morning after not receiving my sleep metrics. The watch didn’t track sleep and wasn’t updating my resources.
After soft reset, the OHR appeared to be working again. But after a couple of hours it stopped again. I’ve manually turned it off and on again, OHR is working now let’s see for how long!I hope we can get a bugfix soon; it’s rather annoying
-
@pavel-samokha and here is another REALLY REALLY annoying fact: this night at 2 o’clock I woke up with my watch illuminated so bright, it woke me up.
It asked with bright screen whether it should install the update now… Grrrr!!
My Race is in DND mode every night, but WHY om earth would it be allowed to do this stupid thing?!?
I had a similar issue a few weeks ago with a storm alert and a bright, yellow screen… Also in the middle of the night - waking me up.
Could you please change the firmware to really do not disturb if it shouldn’t? Thanks!

I have a question for the others with the OHR disconnecting problem. Did you have the new Christmas face in the watch when that happened?
That’s the only thing that changed yesterday that might explain this situation.
My routine was:
8am - updated the watch
10 am - did a 52 minute workout (all great)
1pm - took a shower, the OHR blinded me as usual when I took my watch off
~6pm - changed the watch face to the Christmas tree one
Today at 7:15am - no daily sleep update, OHR was off
12pm - soft reset, OHR back to work
~3:30pm - I realised OHR wasn’t working again, manually turned it off and on again; I also changed the watch face to the one I previously hadI’ll keep you posted!

sad to hear and not expected ofc, could you send logs and remind me in DM your username?
-
OHR problem is known and is being investigated
-
@pavel-samokha Great, thanks for the info!
-
@gerasimos i think he refers to his apple watch ultra?
-
@Francesco-Pagano Same problem. OHR stopped working again today during the day. I’m not sure but on 12:00? After turning the watch off and on again it works normally. Compas does not calibrate itself automatically. So if this update should improve sleep tracking it failed totally for me. I will see next morning. If OHR stop again I will try to find how to get old FW back. Christmas tree is on training device the most important thing…
-
@Dimitrios-Kanellopoulos @pavel-samokha For all those experiencing issues with OHR, I updated my 9PP and wore it sleeping as well as during the day. No gaps or interruptions of OHR. I will keep wearing and testing.
