I have the same problem with Race

@martintrail by then maybe firmware bug.

Today I noticed that Race stopped taking my heart rate during activity about halfway through the run. I’ll try restarting, but I’m really tired of it.

I fabric reset my watch.

If you want try this method.BR

@martintrail Same issue with the vertical. All support suggest is shipping it in for repair. The latest firmware has a lot of bugs

I had same issue since updating Suunto Vertical Titan Solar with firmware 2.35.34. I had to reboot my watch every time for using I integrated HR after watch went into deep battery power saving at night. I reset my watch to factory settings, and problem seems to be solved so far. I will give an update as soon as I have success for longer time. But to Suunto Team: guys, honestly - I am buying some special sports equipment for €700 to use it for mountaineering and not for playing and being test person. Develop your equipment, give it to 500 mountain guides and sports professionals for free, test and improve it for one year and go to the market after that testing phase. I am tired to pay so much money for “green bananas”!

@Siegl Totally agree.

@Siegl there is an update coming in the next weeks, and what you describe does not seem to happen with the new firmware, so whatever it is seems fixed (or user specific). I would say the update is not far away.
And yes, Suunto already gives away watches to hundreds of sponsored athletes, ambassadors, and testers

@isazi sorry but Very Annoying
-
@isazi Until that, the easiest way to recover OHR, just put the watch to the charger for some sec
It works with Race and Vertical as well

@mertobuntu It happened to me to last night. First time for me
-
@Iggge It happens especially when I take it off my arm and put it back on after a while.
