Suunto Vertical: Bug Collection

@Brad_Olwin And why should I use the music control on the watch? I can direct my music by head-shaking with my wing
-
@DrSilverthorn @Brad_Olwin I am on Android 14 and can confirm similar experience.
If I was listening to a podcast (Podcast Republic) and switched over to music (Oto music), pause or take a call it may open either music or podcast or show “Nothing to Play”. No specific default.
Restarting either will then show the controls on the watch and resume function.

@Todd-Danielczyk
I guess that is something related to Android.
I have similar issues with my openrun headphones, skipping tracks skip also the player -
I had blood oxygen measurement on but then decided to switch it off. Still every morning the watch shows the last recorded blood oxygen reading and altitude in the morning report. Minor bug but annoying.
-
@Marko1478 And i bet always 100%?
-
@Tieutieu the same happens to me…
-
@maszop I’ve arrived a that conclusion times ago, I suppose there are many people in this forum thats works for Suunto. The same happens in the telegrams channels . many times the answer is “maybe you are not a suunto watch customer”… my god… I’ve arrived the conclusion that they knows the watch slacks and try to justiticate with that kind of answers. I’ve also decided that the vertical is going to be my last suunto watch…, that’s all.

Some (few) yes
Many,no -
@renton82 when blood oxygen was on, it wasn’t always 100% but the last known reading was 100% and now it does always say that
I don’t care about blood oxygen, I’m just annoued that the morning report shows the last known reading from many weeks ago. -
@Marko1478 Yes i mean last reading in Suunto app… it’s always at 100% what is the sense of this data?
-
Apologies if this post is in the wrong thread.
It appears that the minimum number of data fields that can be displayed, for example for running, is three. My close-in eyesight is not great and it would help if there are 1-field and 2-field display options with the data displayed in large characters so I read the data easily without wearing glasses (that I otherwise do not need for running).
My Garmin (sorry…) Fenix 6 had this option and I found it worked well.
Thanks.

@GKnoll agreed. It would help me also.

@Tieutieu I rarely ski at resorts but thought uphill was not counted. A tester has reported this as a potential bug. We will see what Suunto says.
As a reminder : still buggy on SV and S9pp
Vertical week should give surprises so !

Happened with 2.33.12 - Q1 2024 today’s update.
Actually it seems like small bug. I noticed something weird on default Vertical watchface after update, it took me some seconds to figure what actually changed or missing, and that was altitude missing ,m" (meters) next to number.
I’ve tried change watchface or soft reset but it still missing.
-
@Tami999 hahaha, same, what is new, something is weird, but it didn’t click
-
Hi, could you please advice me? Is this normal graphic view or some kind of issue with screen. Looks kinda distorted, no sharpness. Thank you.
-
@Tami999 it is known and reported, I believe it is to save some space.
-
This is how 8-9 hours of sleep looks like for me, everyday. Anyone else has this problem? -
@Iggge sleep tracking was working perfectly before update. It works still perfectly after.
-
@Tieutieu Have had this problem since day one. It’s a little better since the new UI.
