Vertical crashed today after 1,9km Mountainbike

@GiPFELKiND When you have a watch crash please send logs as soon as you can to Suunto from the Suunto app. Then contact me or @isazi or @freeheeler by PM and tell us the time logs were sent, the time the crash occurred if you know it and your Suunto App username. Or you can do that here. The logs need to be sent within 24h of your crash. Any one of us can communicate with Suunto.
As @zhang965 so thoughtfully copied, I have two Verticals, one typically on test firmware and one on production firmware. The one on production firmware has not crashed in a long time but it is not used everyday.
This is the best way we can help resolve potential bugs. -
I had also a crash today, after walking about 2,5km… as I wanted to finish the activity, the watch freezed… and about one Minute later, the watch did a restart… the activity is still in the logbook, but the Memory of the Status of solar charging is empty… I sent the files to Suunto with the app, today at 15:05 (german time)

It’s what I said why you need ask a proof, kek, the report might never be sent to Suunto correctly.

Hi All,
Just to share my experience:
I had similar crash last week when trekking, I received a notification from Twitter (with special character or emoticons inside), I had the time to see it and directly after Suunto logo appeared and the watch restarted.But too late to send logs.

@Cédric-Dodrimont Maybe it’s a clue.
I almost never carry a phone with me during my activities and if I do I never receive notifications because I disabled some in the settings.Watch never crashed…

Again I would respectfully ask forum users to ignore statements where the individual posting has no knowledge or experience and is simply attempting to get attention.

Maybe it could be useful for users with suunto relationship to have it stated on their signature, so new users know who to contact and the procedure.
Even further, a bug reporting “system” (similar to the feature request for the app) with the status: communicated or solved. -
@André-Faria Agree! People with a relationship of any sort are not exactly explicit about it.

@surfboomerang interesting, I recently re-enabled notifications (my girlfriend does not like that I never answer the phone cause I keep it muted 100% of the time) and had my first crash at the beginning of an activity (reported to Suunto already). Although I doubt I received any notification at that time. Anyway, thanks everyone for the logs and reports.

@isazi Just for clarification, I do have notifications enabled on the watch but not for messaging apps since I got annoyed of the vibration all the time. Phone calls is still enabled and most other app that send occasional notifications as well. Maybe it’s just because I don’t carry my phone with me during the activity or that I don’t receive notifications when I do.
