@renton82 there is more years of this bug than the walking dead seasons
LOL

Not really a bug, but is this thin line under the display on the solar panel normal? Just put the Watch on this morning. Video - left hand side
-
@jasoncuddy
yes, it is the solar panels connector -

Regarding notifications. Does anybody else notice, that notifications are worse than on your previous watch (9p). Sometimes the notification is lagging and sometimes it does not even arrive (Outlook, Viber). On the 9p it was spot on.

@Ketoohs Yes, noticed it once this morning. Thought nothing of it but I will keep an eye on it.
Ok, confirmed unfortunately. The notification is somewhat unreliable.
Sometimes I get notifications just fine, sometimes only the vibration and no visual message and sometimes I don’t receive a notification at all.
It does appear in the notification widget however. -
Also another curiousity…
When you scroll to any direction from the watch face and then press and hold the middle button to return to the watch face, it jumps into “Settings” if you hold the middle button a bit too long.Normally it shows the round loading ring for a couple of secons before it enters “Settings”, but with the above method it seems that it jumps directly into the “Settings” menu

Confirmed as known to Suunto. Will hopefully be changed soon. Thx!

I can’t had an interval training view on a custom sport profil.
Usually, i set the 3 view during work and 5 (or more) during recovery.
-
@Mi_chael reported to Suunto already, thanks.

Summary of my day…
- maps are working
- after a very short test with a personal sport mode, the watch saved it, but after saving, it freezed in the Watch Face… I did a soft reset (pressing the upper button very long) and after this, everything was normal
- later I did a longer Test Walk with a custom sport mode, and everything was as it should be…
I think I will test the Personal Mode again…,

First run with my new Vertical! Everything looks good apart from Strava sync, which is not working. Sync to Training Peaks works but is a bit slow. Also after the run the watch did not want to connect to the phone but switching on and off the airplane mode on Vertical solved it.
-
@jakubdr was Strava already connected before the run ?
-
@Dimitrios-Kanellopoulos Yes, it was the first thing I did during the initial setup as well as the TrainingPeaks connection. Manual .fit export and import to Strava worked, it just did not sync automatically. I will try to reconnect it before the run tomorrow if I can replicate the issue or to see if it resolves it.
-
@jakubdr Do not reconnect if possible. just do a fake activity
-
Not really a bug but some minor improvements:
POIs do not appear on the map when map only is started.
POIs do appear on the map in an activity, but only as white icon which makes it very hard to see against the outdoor map style. Almost impossible actually. I would suggest a black outline around the icon like in the Suunto app. -
@Likarnik Same here. Tried to configure Power Zones and was not possible and watch get stuck in that menu.
Solved by soft reset. -
Today I also had a crash during an activity. After 1km run the clock restarted. Suunto needs to improve quickly.
-
@Kurt68 Uff something I don’t like hearing , as I have a marathon on Saturday and Vertical is now my only watch…
-
@Ketoohs I also run a marathon on Sunday only comfortably, but I would still not like to see it happen at the competition.

Yesterday, first run with my new Vertical, I found another “surprise”: “The Schödinger’s Suunto+ Screen”.
I selected one Suunto+ App before start the activity, Training Peaks Rythm, and started the activity. I switched between screens and didn’t find the S+ screen.
In the middle of the run I accessed the Menu and verified that S+ App was selected. I went back to activity and from that moment the S+ screen was showed…
At the end of the activity all the S+ App was recorded from the beginning of the activity so it was working but without its own screen.
Also, my screen was in “white” mode and the “TP Rythm” screen was showed in “dark” mode, is thar normal? In S9P S+ screens are showed in the same mode (white or dark) that all the other screens, isn’t that?
