So, will there definitely be a firmware update tomorrow?

To those who are getting their watch today. Please make some comparison shots with S9B. I haven’t seen such pictures in the reviews so far…

Slept with “her” for the first time…
The difference in weight is noticeable comparing it to 9p also the bulk, but the 9p was always a bit to small for my feeling. And the screen is a huge upgrade. Love the new UI. The vibration is louder than on the 9p but is not to loud.
Did just one quick weight training yesterday, today (as the weather sucks) I’ll try a 1 hour treadmill.
I have a small groin injury but if everything goes to plan Saturday I will take the Vertical for a 42k.

@Likarnik Hi what is the problem with this ?
-
@Dimitrios-Kanellopoulos no problems I just did not want to connect it before official date Now maps are downloading…
-
I thought it will be shipping from Netherlands but it is from Finland actually.
Hope I will well received it today as it is scheduled -
How is the 22mm strap with the Vertical? Not too small and feels good on the wrist? Other brands use 26mm for that size.
-
@Ultrawalker If I remember well, S9Baro was with a 24mm ?
So I guess the 22mm should be ok with the Vertical.
Doesn’t look too thin on the pictures anyway… -
@Ultrawalker
I find it perfect!
I saw a guy with “a” garmin (lost the track about all their similar but still different models) with a very wide strap and tried to imagine how that must feel on the wrist -

@seanvk Mr. Bean looking at his Vertical?
-
Waiting for dhl courier
-
What is official (production) firmware version?
-
Mine left Finland this morning and is now in Singapore

Got a call from DHL (France) to confirm if I am at home… Never been so closed to get it. It was a very long month since the leak started
I came from Polar M400 to SSU (2019) then S9b ti.
I used Movecount couple of weeks before the digital transition. I saw a lot of though comments on this change but today it’s another story. As a newcomer a lot of you talked about Ambit series until today I hope I will be like you guys talking about my Vertical in the next decade…Last thing…Suunto has a strong Identity and that makes a huge difference for me. So… Thanks Suunto team for being dedicated in this forum and behind.

I couldn’t have say it better ! Never quit Suunto since my X6. So glad the brand keeps its basics, identity and spirit !
And I really appreciate that they sent watches yesterday so that most of those who preorderd could receive it the same day that official sellings are open ! -
Does anyone know how much sun you need for one hour gps extra?
I think i will keep and use my 9PP for short trainings.
For ultras with navigation i’ll use the vertical.
So the vertical will not see the sun everyday.Is it smart to buy the 200€ more expensive titan solar in my case? Or better go for the steel version?
Thanks for advice!
