New software update for S9P-S9B-S9-S5P-S5 and S3 devices 2.20.28
-
@soojong-moon Yes, removed TP connection, removed SA from second device (iPad), uninstalled SA on phone, restarted phone, restarted watch, reconnected TP. Did this multiple times in different order, but still nothing.
It lists TP as connected service with partner guidance (don’t know the exact english translation):
In TP Suunto is listed unter connected accounts as read/write and timezones are correct. I have scheduled a various test workouts for today (different sports, range/target hr, with duration/distance,…), nothing is displayed in SA.
@Soojong-Moon Could you share a screenshot of your TP connection in SA? (profile-> connected services -> TrainingPeaks? When I go to this screen, there’s only displayed, that my activities are automatically synchronized with TrainingPeaks. There is no information about Suunto Guides.
-
@wmichi could you write me to PM email you use in SA?
-
@wmichi nope. Once you have the watch updated and everything linked, it should work.
I remember having a similar issue in the beginning. Do not exactly remember the steps to get it working.
Please try: unlink TP in SA.
Link again.
Create a new structured workout in TP and see if this syncs then. -
@egika I have tried that too. Doesn’t work.
-
@isazi not good…We also need to be able to pass an interval by pressing the lap button.
Moreover, for the warm-up before a session, it should be possible to set an indefinite time in order to finish it by pressing the lap button and start the training. -
@frederick-rochette you can already do this. Just enable the respective setting in Training Peaks “End step on lap button”. Done
-
@egika do you happen to know, if this also works with intervals.icu? They have the toggle, but it apparently only works with Garmin. I’ll give it a shot later today.
-
@frederick-rochette what @egika said. Just create a workout step that is longer than you need, and shorten it pressing the lap button.
-
@dmytro trying it atm, but although intervalls.icu ist connected with Suunto (its shown in intervalls.icu’s settings) a short testraining is not transfered to the Suunto App. Actually in the Suunto app on iOS, intervalls.icu does NOT show in the list of connected services. I can still tap on connect in the list. And when I do this it starts intervals.icu and shows me my intervalls.icu data … Don’t know what I am doing wrong here…?!?
-
@chrisa in the settings on intervals.icu consider checking both import and export boxes. I got my training on the watch, not iOS though.
-
@dmytro Hi, its there, looks like yours:
but in the SUUNTO APP intervalls.icu is NOT listed in the “Verbundene Dienste” (connected services - I guess). Also unchecked everything, but no joy
Since it says "uploaded XX Minutes ago, I guess it’s not downloaded to the Suunto App, but there’s nothing I can do there…
-
@chrisa hm, also, do you have a training plan listed like this, in your intervals.icu user profile?
I have planned two workouts, as you can see - a green one and a yellow one.
-
@dmytro yep…short intervall test…
-
Are the problems with the structured workouts import specific to iOS? Is there anyone with iOS where TrainingPeaks, intervals.icu and Nolio are working?
-
@chrisa and finally, once you open SA, go to Guides, doesn’t a white rectangular box with a message ‘watch is syncing’ show up?
-
@wmichi yes, iOS and TP. It is working for everyone but you
-
@egika Me and two or thee others. We must be edge cases.
-
@wmichi I also have iOS so perhaps it’s as you believe an iOS issue.
-
@dmytro I logged out of everything now, restarted iPhone and now intervalls.icu made it into the list and… the structured intervall is there - Thanks Suunto, this is really cool!
-
@wmichi Sorry, there was a bug that happened with couple of languages but that should be fixed now!
