I generally only look at the app following the exercise. For me it always aligns pretty well with feel. I use it for running primarily. For CrossFit it depends on the length/duration of some of the work - as mentioned in the FAQ - you need durations long enough for the reading to catch up in the watch.

@Egika OK and nice to get some answers here. From the support I only received the answer that I need to accept it and that my data is safe, whatever that means.

@Egika that would be awesome. I’m always for different watch customizations in and out of workout, as those are usually different use cases.

@Mango I have iOS version 18.3.1 on my iPhone14 / Suunto App 2.41.0 and no crash issue. Can you update your iOS and let us know if the problem persists? Well, it doesn’t help, but at least I see that I’m not the only one.

I reinstalled the app and the maps are back.

@sartoric I tested other iOS apps on macOS, and they work perfectly. The Suunto app also functions across three screens, as long as you don’t log in. However, as soon as you log in, the app successfully navigates to the activity screen and works fine—for that one session. Once you quit the app, it fails to start again (maybe because the initial setup views are skipped?). I shared this information as part of my follow-up email in response to my support chat.

I found that in the lap section there are some downhills that have a duration of few seconds and a distance of few meters (or even zero!), it would be enough for me to filter out all the laps that have a downhill distance less than 10m and/or a duration less than 10s (for example).

@peegee From @Egika test it is likely a WhatsApp issue, try sending the link somewhere else to download. The export from SA is not the file but a link to the file download.

@kamarasm you could try opening a GPX you know loads in a plain text editor (notepad on Windows) and then open the one that will not load. You will see simple coding, just see if there is any obvious difference or special characters. I used to have to do this on every upload from a Garmin Etrex to have Strava read the elevation from the GPS. Or upload to GPX editor or similar, add elevation then redownload. GPX editor (or why others editors) will rewrite the GPX header.
