and one more thing… In the Sport Tracker web interface are all altitudes right, so this bug is in the apps (Suunto App + Sporttracker App) only.

I was having this issue after upgrading to iOS 13 too until I fixed it today. I have a Suunto Fitness 3 (software 2.8.24). I changed the settings on my iPhone to let messages display previews when the phone is unlocked. Before, I had this setting as ‘Never’.

My iOS is 13.1.3. Here’s what I did:

Go to Settings > Notifications > Messages Under ‘Options’ go to Show Previews. Change to ‘When Unlocked’.

@Stefan-Kersting if I open your activity all I see is a start/finish point and another point which I believe is your first manual lap point. No track is displayed.

@lexterm77 cannot help with this, you need someone working at Suunto for that. But we reported the issue so it may be fixed. I’ll share if I learn more.

New beta just kicked off ver 2.36. In the version description it says menstrual cycle tracking. It seems all kinds of goodies are on the way. 🙂

I can’t test it on iOS, but, the logic might be the same : delete storage or even app on iphone, reinstall it, reconnect, and let SA get all routes that are in the watch, and then delete them FROM SA without forgetting to unticked them before.

rubiTrack downloads what it gets from the API. If something is missing, the reason is that it doesn’t exist (on Suunto’s API page).

There may be a problem with the cache of the watch, it’s worth trying a soft reste (upper button during 12s). Most of the GPS reviews are quite positive for the S9, so no reason it wouldn’t work for you. I personally experienced very accurate tracks so far, happy to share some activities as an example.

Any update on this, there is till no stroke rate for open water swim when exported as fit-file och connections to other analysis tools.

Any news on pace being wrong for open water swim in watch. Poolswm works and show min/100m but open water swim show pace as min/Km

It is not a Suunto App problem in general as there are several user who made it working. For me, Suunto App appears in the Share sheet, but ape@map not anymore. So maybe it depends on which app is installed first? I don’t know…

It is clear 🙂
It is not advised, but you can still sync to Movescount, even with SA customization (route or sportsmode), BUT only using in parallel the MC app.
It is just to let you know the trick and use it on purpose (to have the best of SA, and still the best of MC, just without SuuntoLink but MCapp on your phone as the syncer).
