Same problem. Suunto Ambit Peak 3 and bike sensor. In my case distance is underestimated, not increased. I can see that cadence is correctly recordered, but speed is not, then distance at the end of the ride is wrong.

@isazi yes, i did via chat in SA… the only recommendation was about proper use of HR smart sensor. They do not see the reason transfer it to devteam. My small data science background convinced me there is nothing to do with it but SA itself shall be fixed somehow.

@hgavert I see your point but the GPS for the watch is used for more than the Sunset/Sunrise, it is used for navigation as well. The watch does not know where it is from the phone. The watch needs a GPS fix to know where it is, plain and simple. Your phone uses its Network information to tell you where you are and does not solely rely on GPS, that is why you don’t need a continuous fix. The watch does not have a cellular communication chip and has no choice. Yes you will have to get a GPS fix on the watch for the watch to know where it is. When I travel I do stand outside waiting for transportation and allow my watch to get a GPS fix. If you are interested, the S7 works differently and can get location information without a GPS fix.

@Matmath-Bti in movescount web allow to sync to Sportracker. All your further moves will be synced to SA from MC.

@Egika. You cannot clear on an iPhone. If the cache gets corrupted deleting and reinstalling the app is the only solution.

I have (almost identical) route with same S9B watch last month Showing this: Edit: there are no manual splits in move a month ago. Values are correct if you look at auto lap, if you view manual split vertical speed is utterly wrong, Bug is when you do manual splits. @s1ngletracker Same happened to me here with Spanish, so it is not the special characters. I had no time to isolate, but it happened sometimes when creating a route with WP. I wondered if it were the number of WPs, but I finally managed to have it saved for some reasons after some trial-error. Not very helpful, but just for adding my similar experience. I am in the latest iOS beta, by the way.

@christophe-leborgne it seems that you are going around a circle here! Please find a different iPhone and set it up there. If it doesn’t freeze then it’s you phone. You have been given quite few options to try and you haven’t mentioned if you have attempted any at all. To be fair this issue with Suunto app freezing is unheard of. I have m never seen the app misbehave which leads me to believe that you phone is most likely the culprit. Again, your best bet is to try with another iPhone.
