Possibility to choose ghost runner pace
-
 Hello,
Feature suggestion in SuuntoPlus Ghost runner: to have the possibility to choose the running pace with the suunto app in SuuntoPlus (it is already possible to enter a value with SuuntoPlus like with RaceCompanion for example) rather than calculating it automatically on the first kilometer/mile.

@Antoine good suggestion, that makes sense, as now data can be entered into the S+ apps from SA. This is currently under development and testing (plus a little extra ;))

Any news, when this will be possible? I‘m planning a race with a predefined pace (e.g. 15min for 3km) and would like to use the Ghost runner. (When) Is that possible? Thanks
-
@GuyIncognito why do you want to use the Ghost Runner? There is a Race Pacer app that let’s you set the pace and works quite well during races.

@isazi found this in parallel and I will try it out. Thanks
The Ghost Runner would be perfect to run against an existing tour or goal, like „beet myself yesterday“…
-
@GuyIncognito I agree Using Ghost Runner, I would really like the possibility to choose - a specific route
- a specific time on that route from a list of my previous attempts (ordered from best to worst)
The Ghost Runner should provide the behind/ahead time based on the selected route and the selected time. This will be extremely useful for trail running where fixed pace makes no sense.

@Claudio-Zandonella-Callegher Can’t you use the Strava Segments for that? You are going always against your best time there but I believe it could have a similar effect as the one you need.

@Zdeněk-Hruška Thanks, but since I do not use Strava, the discussion is about helpful improvements of the Ghost Runner app.
