Recovery sessions

Hi all,
Random though.
Whilst the sports modes capture yoga/stretching, I was wondering if we could capture recovery sessions like Sauna / Steam / Ice Baths - While there is a workaround naming it as “other” it would be great if we could have them as selectable options.Paul

@murphyp228 Yes. Please! Good idea. I would love that as well. And to add to that. A guided breathing exercise would be awesome!

Hello,
Do you wear your watch on these occasions?
What are the temperature conditions encountered (by the watch) on each occasion? -
@Arnaud-LECLÈRE as a native Finn I can tell that sauna tempterature can be anything between 50 - 120 Celsius. I don’t wear my watch in sauna, although I am tempted to see how my HR behaves when I alternate between sauna and icy lake 7-8 times in 90 minutes
-
@Arnaud-LECLÈRE I wear any smartwatch in the Sauna. The temperature of the watch does not get so high as one might think.

OK, You both saw where I was going with that first question.
I like sauna’s, but personally I never wear my watch, I’ve killed a Garmin 735 at this game and a heart belt (deliter because the glue had taken a knock).
Suunto shares for my SRace : -20° C to +55° C / -5° F to +130° F.
Even in the centre of the room in the lower part, if it’s only 50/55°C you’re already supposed to be at the maximum of the watch. In short, I’m not sure that Suunto intends to create a sauna label, which will inevitably give the idea that it’s perfectly suited to saunas.
I’m already finding it hard to see the point of mermaid swimming in the list…, so I wouldn’t be too keen to see the arrival of sports, sauna/ice bath/massage/compression/massage gun labels etc… Maybe just a “Recovery”.
