Suunto 9 Baro totally bricked
Hi all, hope you are having a good weekend.
I’ve had my 9 Baro for a couple of years, and have had to do one hard reset during that time. Today I was pool swimming after setting the watch to record my session when I heard a couple of beeps from the watch. The screen was fixed on the pool length option and another one, but I couldn’t change the screen at all. I decided to do a soft reset…
And that’s when the watch completely went haywire. At first I could see the down arrow with 4 dots below, then that vanished. Now, an hour later, the watch does nothing and neither Suuntolink nor the Suunto app on my phone will recognise the watch. So a hard reset using Suuntolink is not possible.
Any thoughts before I contact customer service on Monday?
@Gordy748 Try charging for awhile and then attempt soft reset again. Don’t know if this will help. Another possibility is for the battery to exhaust and then charge and reset.
My daughter’s Honor Band refused to charge. I put the band to freezer for a few hours and it started charging again. Just a thought!
