What do you expect from the next update?

Tides graph is necessary in vertical

Suunto is cooking up a major update. What are you most looking forward to? There’s nothing official in this list, some features will probably be released, but there’s also my personal guess. If you see anything else, don’t hesitate to add
There is an urgent need for live tracking and emergency alerts.
-
@the_ultraman I would really like some form of live tracking aswell… mostly for the sanity of my wife
-
- Heart rate transmission to other plattforms (e.g. ZWIFT)
- More Sensor connections
- Beeing able to connct the Suunot HR Sensor to more than one device
-
Multiple LAP time set in chronometer mode
-
More backlight controls in “Exercise options.”
Currently it’s just on or off (more precisely “On” and “Normal”). I have both “Standby” and “Raise to wake” turned off in the general settings. I’d like to be able to turn on just raise to wake for night activities without having to have the backlight on all the time. AMOLEDs have full display options for activities. Why not us MIPs?
-
My top wishes are still the same :
- 5sec bip countdown before next step when using native structured workouts, and rep counter
A new one after my first 100miles trail running :
- setting clock alarm during exercise
-
Im hoping for something similar to climbpro on Garmin, or whatever Hammerhead has on their Karoo unit - the ability to show graded elevation and what is coming up, and your location on the climb, without having to have downloaded a route first.
I use my Karoo 2 for road and gravel and absolutely rely on this feature. Almost thinking of taking it with my trail running.
-
@mikekoski490 hum with no route loaded ? I really can’t imagine how it could work on trail running ? When on a trail there are so much bifurcations that app would never now.

@Mister-PYC that’s partly the case considering the pretty regular surveys we receive directly through SA. I just replied to the last one yesterday. It comes as a pop-up message when launching SA.
-
@Mister-PYC
there’s no need to multiple post
You’ve already opened a specific thread, if you really need to quote it, link it here -
@Tieutieu for structured workouts would also be great to have a counter for intervals (e.g. 7/10).
-
@mabe2k yep, that’s what I call « rep counter »
-
@sartoric Hey !!! I just realized after having wrote this here that is will have been better to create it as a separate post? look the timing.
Having capacity to delete our own post you will have found a single entry precisally as a separate topic -
@Mister-PYC
can you edit a post? -
@sartoric Yeap for sure I can edit and remove all inside leaving an empty egg … you are right
DONE !!! -

In addition I would love to see that my daily movement is also taken into account in my progress. Not only when I do a training.
I mean when I have a busy day in my vineyard, I collect a lot of steps… Would be nice to see such days having an impact on my CTL, ATL and TSB.
-
@Stoke80 Referring to what you wrote at the end. This is why I try to start “walking” as an additional activity. I launch it when I know that I will do at least 2 kilometers at a time moving from point A to point B. Especially when I do it quickly, rushing to the train station, for example:) After all, such moving can be counted as aerobic exercise in zone 1 (just like hiking).
