What do you expect from the next update?

@Iggge no. Because those are a lot of steps since I woke up. It has no sense to have so many steps. I will recheck at the end of the day but with just one hour and half since I woke up, It seems the issue is still there (at least for me)
Try deleting and re adding the complication. Check to see if the widget is not counting. If no steps maybe restart the watch.

@Brad_Olwin thanks!. Done. Will check at the end of day .
Edit: I have reseted also all the data of the watch and re-synced. That means that I have lost today’s steps but I don’t care about that. So I will check tomorroy again -
@Brad_Olwin I get the impression that for you Suunto watches are perfect and nothing is a problem, even bugs. This is a very bad approach especially for someone who seems to be involved in testing.

I am quite happy with the latest update. Progress has been made with the OHR measurement for me. Before it was pretty useless most of the time. Now it is working for running at least 90% of the time. I saw cadence lock one time on my run this AM, but the previous run it was flawless. I’d pretty much given up hope on OHR for the Vertical. Given this was a major concern for me in the past, I am really happy something was done.
I also appreciate the ability to customize complications on the watchfaces, and to have some more to choose from. I am good with the implementation now.
So overall, I like this update - the software team should be happy with this one.I haven’t tried any of the structured training stuff to see if it’s been improved, but fingers are crossed that this is in the works for a future update if it hasn’t been worked.
Also, I filled out a survey some time ago about what features and issues were important to me. I have the feeling that someone at Suunto actually looked at my survey and took it seriously. This left me with a good feeling.
-
@DrSilverthorn there are people whose job is to design surveys and read them and see what the majority of users want
-
@isazi Where do these surveys usually take place?
-
@Sergei-Ladeishchikov sometimes you’ll see them pop-up in the app
-
@isazi I have never had any news or notifications in the beta iOS app for over a year (I’ve been using iOS for so long). Before this, there were no notifications on Android either.
-
Can we please have the option to turn off notifications beeps separately from all beeps?
-
@Sergei-Ladeishchikov what language do you use for the app?
-
@isazi English
-
@Sergei-Ladeishchikov then I don’t know, I get them sometimes
-
@isazi what about the news?
-
@Sergei-Ladeishchikov I also get those
-
@isazi then what is my reason?) it doesn’t interfere with life, it’s just interesting and, perhaps, I can miss something interesting, for example, polls)

Good point!!! You’re right man 🥳 when you read about some bugs with the new Software… Cannot believe this. Specially that a tester says its no Problem! Missing contour lines are definitely a Problem. They are missing since Oktober last year 🥴
-
@GiPFELKiND let’s explain this another time, there is no bug on contour lines, there was a choice to be made: keep the maps at 1km or increase the scale to 5, 10, 20 kilometers. The only way to do that fast enough to be usable was to reduce details, and for the vast majority of users roads and trails are more used than contour lines, so the drop of contour lines when zooming out. This is still being worked out, and more details will be in the maps if and when the technical issues are fixed. No one wants a map full of details that is unreadable and unusable.

No, not true but I am a scientist and your statements are factually inaccurate. There are contour lines. And I ask again, you say maps work poorly. Specifically what works poorly?
I do not see a major issue with contour lines where they are now. Yes that is part opinion but I did not say what I personally wanted. Nor do you know what I request as a tester. -

Specifically this tester says that he does not think the lack of contour lines at specific zoom levels is a serious problem. The maps are not missing contour lines, simply contour lines are not present at all zoom levels. As I told @maszop neither of you are precise with your statements. The fact is that contour lines are not missing they are present at higher zoom levels. That is a fact. I do not see this as a serious issue (my opinion). I did not state whether or not I would like them when zoomed out so please try not to assume what I am thinking.

I just don’t understand how you can write such nonsense over and over again.
What roads, what details? I’m talking about mountains in which the only details visible on the map are contour lines. Contour lines are not needed when viewing a small or very big areas, and mainly when viewing a area of 200, 500m, 1 and 2km.
Outdoor watch testers should know such things, if not, maybe they should do something else?
A 200m view is unfortunately often useless in the mountains. I most often use 500m and 1km (with the older maps) — then I can see the shape of the slope, cliffs etc.Besides, the developer when announced it on social media canals, wrote that it was only temporary and would be FIXED soon, and you are writing such bullshit here now.
