VO2 max chart
-
I see that my Vo2 max goes up and down over time which is quiet natural. I have periods with running and periods with other activities that are not so useful for calculating my Vo2 max.
I have seen many different charts on the web showing Vo2 max intervals for men/women where you can find out - depending from your age - how fit you are.
Has anybody seen the chart with the Vo2 max values that are used for the Vertical?

@Stefan-Kersting Never seen the chart, but the thing I don’t understand is why walking activities are also used for V02max calculation. It’s a bit anoing to have to disconnect HR mesurement if we don’t want the VO2max value to go down…
For sure the algorythm that estimate the VO2 uses Age/genre/HR and probably other things like NGP/pace…
(I went on july for a full shape test in a lab (with VMA/VO2 estimation). My VO2 estimated is not very far (but above) the one I get with Suunto.) -
@Tieutieu you can find the chart here. Wondering if Suunto uses the same for displaying fitness level on the vertical.
https://www.suunto.com/nb-no/Support/Product-support/suunto_ambit3_sport/suunto_ambit3_sport/funksjoner/ytelseniva-av-loping/Good point with the developing of the fitness level. After som hiking trips the Vo2 max is dropping
It is bin said that the calculated Vo2 max is pretty near that you are measuring at a lab test
