New replacement Watch while loading watch turned off and black display
-
I received a new exchange watch from Suunto a week ago after sending in my first vertical due to multiple crashes (6 pieces since May) and 4 complete resets. Everything has been fine for a week until today. Just plugged in for the first time to charge, the watch just wanted to turn off, the screen is black. Took the watch off the charger (thought the watch is in standby mode, like when not moved). So take the watch from the charging cable and continue to black. Only pressing the top right button for 12 seconds starts the clock. WHAT IS LOS SUUNTO??? I could really cry. New watch, 1 week old… and now this again?
Will this be the next watch I have to send in for repairs a second time? -
@GiPFELKiND I think it’s a software bug. Can only suggest trying many combinations of pressing and holding the buttons until it comes back to life. Happened to me and came back. Assuming it the same issue of course.
For something that seems to be affecting so many I’m really surprised theres been no update for a while.Editing this to say It might be worth letting the battery run down if that does not work. Mine was giving dead battery symbol when it came back.
