WhatsApp Messages bad readable
-
Globally satisfied with Vertical after one week use.
Something I regret is how bad the WhatsApp messages are readable. The font is too small to read and just a part of the message is projected so you have to use the phone to read the whole message.
Last year I used Huawei Gt 3 and here the messages where perfectly readable on the watch in a second. Hope this will be possible on the Vertical in the future. -
@Philip Apples and oranges, cause then one might as well compare Suunto to Apple Watch. Either way, notifications are the weak point in many cases and certainly not a priority in the ecosystem, at least based on what I have seen over the years.

@altcmd I understand what you mean. But Vertical is an excellent watch in my opinion with some weak points that normally easy can be solved if Suunto want to please it’s buyers.
It can’t be a problem to optimize the notifications so it is pleasant to read.
It can’t be a problem to optimize the widget with calories. After a walkactivity I made 850 calories with it. But the widget says I have totally 760 calories.
It are details I know, but if the important things of this watch are made very good like the navigation of the Vertical, why don’t take care for this minor problems to make your consumers happy…

@Philip I feel you. Even the disconnect between activity calories and widget calories is a known bug. Yet to be fixed! (You will hear a lot of this.)

This !. I cannot understand why it is so complicated to integrate a user selectable font size. Or use by default something bigger. Garmin has done this already (bigger font IMHO).
Also black text on white background or black background with white text also an user option.But what i miss most are the emoticons !. Always only a black / white square. We are in 2023 not 2014 anymore. Emoticons should be no problem nowadays.
Just my 2 cents.

@Frank-Stefan completely agree with you

I use yo whatsapp and also have this problem, can anyone help me?
-
@EricChandler The font size is not configurable, at least not yet. And emoji support is also missing.
Many improvements and fixes have been rumoured to come in the next release. Those who know won’t tell.
