Weather widget not syncing with app

Hello,

I recently got a Suunto Vertical, and after an initial successfull sync with the Suunto App, the watch is displaying outdated informations about weather. I synced multiple time with the Suunto App, but despite saying “Weather Sync”, nothing changed on the watch, I still have outdated weather forecast from the initial sync. Am I missing something?

Deactivatin/Reactivating the weather widget did not solved the issue.

@Emmanuel-Bolland usually it is location permission for the app that is missing

@isazi I just double checked, but location persmission was activated. I deactivated/reactivated it, the issue is still there? Should I submit a bug report?

Something actually changed : the watch does not display anything anymore for weather but a message asking for a sync with the Suunto app. I synced again, the message is still there…

@Hiking-Bear what phone? On iOS precise location and always must be enabled.

@Hiking-Bear Is your phone GPS activated ? I noticed that when I sync without phone GPS activated, the météo widget doesn’t sync.

For now I just deactivated the weather widget, it makes no sense to use it if not reliable…

@Hiking-Bear I think the issue is likely the phone. On an iPhone permissions must be enabled and precise GPS location.

Did you check on your phone whether SA has GPS permissions? I do not hove an Android phone but this could be an issue. Also, is it possible that SA is not running in the background?
