2nd bike sensor
-
Just to be sure: when i buy 2nd bike and 2nd bike sensor, there wont be any issues? Do i need to make another “cycling profile” in the app? eg 1.gravel 2.mtb?

@Krzysztof-Borkowski with Suunto watch you will have to pair new sensors (if they are the same type) every time you change bike. no matter what sport profile
-
@dombo thank you. so… i guess its not a problem when i decide to use just one bike for a while, but using them alternately will cause discomfort

@Krzysztof-Borkowski for cadence, attach the sensor to your shoe. That way you can switch bikes without even thinking about it. For road vs. MTB (probably different shoes), you may want to move the sensor from shoe to shoe. But it is easier than from crank to crank. For power, there is no work around. For speed (if you really want it), attach it to the bike which you use in the area with worse GPS coverage (probably MTB). The other option, of course, is to have two watches (Suunto will like it). Mialem ten sam problem.

@MdzOtt this is imposible to do with official suunto bike sensor as there is speed and cadence in one sensor and magnet which must be positioned precicely.

@Tomas5 This was one reason why i went with Wahoo sensors. The cadence can be very easily attached to a shoe. And i stopped using the speed sensor. It was quite useful on the MTB as the GPS signal is quite often blocked (trees, boulders, etc.), but on the road bike, the GPS speeds is good enough (and we don’t have enough tunnels here).
