HotFix release 2.25.64

@Dimitrios-Kanellopoulos is there any update on the map too? do we need to delete the map & re-install the map again after we updated the Hotfix?
-
Improved GNSS tracking quality? Are you serious? My tracks are already nearly perfect

Seems that the « no map issue » was more likely linked to routes. So I guess you won’t need to delete and reinstall the maps.

is the high battery consumption with 2 Suunto Plus apps fixed?
-
@Kurt68 For the 2 apps to be included in other watches beta releases, I would assume yes.

I had exactly the same thoughts.

Hope so. Thanks for the info
-
@wmichi I suppose it’s the bug, that after a long break (45 minutes and more) there were issues with the tracking when continueing the activity
-
@babychai the firmware and maps are independent, and the map of Malaysia has not been updated yet. When it gets updated you will be able to delete and download it again. No need to do it now.
-
@runomatic exactly, the new GNNS firmware should improve the performance of regaining signal after loss. This is not specifically for OWS, but Sony is also working on better OWS for a future update. And Suunto is working on OWS too
-
@Dimitrios-Kanellopoulos updated and thanks for the details of the update !
-
Map missing issue: Updated now to 2.25.64, went outside to check out the maps (have had issues). All seemed fine, then I toggled to Way Point navigation to get a fix on my house, and went back to map view and the dreaded black and white squares were back! No amount of zooming in and out and toggling navigation options seemed to bring back the maps. Location: V&A Waterfront, Cape Town, South Africa.

I didn’t read that you are supposed to have 50%battery doing this update?? Im doing it on 7% and it’s still working is there any problem with this ?
Ignore this only the part for the app worked now I wants me to to in the watch to do some other update but it tells me you need 50% battery
-
@LitchiMonster poi navigation you mean ?
-
@LitchiMonster could you be specific? I tried poi navigation and no issues
-
@gone-troppo yes 50% is needed. The app just pushes the update.
-
@isazi awesome and noted. really appreciate your info sharing.
overall so far map movement and smoothness really great -
@Dimitrios-Kanellopoulos from map screen, accessed by pushing on bottom button from the watch face, it all seemed in order. Then from the map screen I selected poi navigation, without starting exercise, and the map was replaced by black squares. I then exited this and Tried to access map by starting an exercis (walking). From within walking exercise, it still was not shown. Tried tuning map off and on, and changing maps styles from within walking exercise but still nothing.
