Turning off notifications

I want to thank Suunto for allowing us to change the widgets that show on the Vertical, via the app.
But an oddity – I turned off notifications, yet still get a beep and a shortened message whenever my phone receives messages… so in some way, I’m still getting alerted to messages. Is there something else to turn off?

did you turn off notification in watch settings or app ones? -
@harlanstockman in app… ok, will look at watch settings next. Maybe app just kept the widget from showing up?

If you disabled notifications from App/Settings you’ve just disabled app to phone notifications
