Suunto Vertical "white bubbles" OHR SENSOR
-
Hello dear community, I am the proud owner of a new Suunto Vertical. I’ve had them for 3 weeks. Today after exercising I noticed white bubbles on the back of the heart rate sensor and real cracks in the sensor. little lines and these weird little white bubbles. I wear my watch every day, 24 hours a day. Even when showering. Currently I put sunscreen on my arms and sometimes when I sweat, some sunscreen and salt can get on the sensor. that’s normal. I clean the watch with soap and water after exercise. as it says in the manual. but can the small white blisters and cracks come from it? what does your back look like on the sensor?! is this a problem? does the watch have to go back to the company? does it need to be repaired? is this wear and tear normal after 3 weeks?

@GiPFELKiND
Contact support and ask them.
Maybe it’s some issue with the plastic coverIn some point it looks cracked but the rest looks scratched
-
@GiPFELKiND for three weeks of use, that looks very ‚scratchy‘. Something other than your skin seems to make / or made at least once intensive contact with the sensor area
-
@GiPFELKiND Indeed as previous users pointed it looks scratched. Now on top of my head if you have not been to the sea and the sand knows to do such things, maybe you are using some shower gel or some other product that has particles to ‘peel’ your skin (minerals or smt similar)?
