Battery saving options

Can we have a thread on the best ways to prolong the already excellent battery life in the vertical.
Does anyone know which watch face uses least battery?
Some of the settings I have personally changed for battery include
. All backlights off, standby backlight off (not sure what this one is)
. Wrist turn light off
.pulse ox off
.notifications off
. Aeroplane mode on most of time unless wanting to sync
.no music
. I have 24/7 hr but I want this for my dataAny other settings that I might be missing re battery life ? I like mostly minimalist approach.

@gone-troppo I think the “Power saving” option covers it all in one switch.I think you activated the biggest battery drainer in watch mode however: 24/7 hr monitoring

@surfboomerang
I think so, too. I recall in the beginning with S9B, I wanted max battery life and avoided everything that consumed battery… but what for? the watches charge so fast, especially the new ones. I prefer to have the functions over some battery saving -
Yes power saving mode unfortunately turns off hr, hr is needed for me to get my 24/7 metrics otherwise I would have just kept using ambit

I also use hr tracking mesurement h24 : battery consumption is very low compared to S9b. Max 2% a day (knowing that I have backlight at minimum, wrist raise to « light », standby off, no spo2 mesurement, phone notifications off)
@freeheeler totally agree with you => once the main settings that consume the most battery done, battery life of the Vertical is so huge that there is no worry anymore about « will I have enough power ?! » -
@Tieutieu
…that moment when you search your charging cable and can’t remember when or where you put it last time

@freeheeler ahahahahahah

@freeheeler said in Battery saving options:

Found a backup solution in this case : left my wife’s S9pp charging cable in its box as spare

Or pray for sunny day !
