When I start a new activity using any of those custom modes, the battery mode is always set to “custom”, even if I 100% of the times change it back to performance.
Same here
-
@Luis-Andés-Olmedo as far as I remember, if there is a custom battery mode is always preferred. Delete the custom mode, and it will default to performance.
-
@isazi thank you! I’ll do it… but… how can I delete the custom mode?
BTW, has anyone reported any delay in backlight activation with the new update? I am having random delays (no matter if in an activity or not… sometimes the backlight takes up to 8’’ to turn on upon wrist twist, notification or button press) since I updated.

you can’t in the fact, but you can set up the “custom mode” with the same settings as the performance one (as far as i remember this tricky trick)

Hello,
I realised something that confused me…
10 minutes in treadmill exercise mode, 903 steps and 33 kcal added to the Total from the exercise and again 10 minutes with just counting steps, 907 steps, it count these steps as 49 kcal+11 kcal from BMR, 60 kcal added to Total, so, same exercise, same time with very big difference in calories calculation. I’m wondering, where is the truth? -
I have noticed a strange behavior on 2.37.34 when I left for quite a long time (5-7min) the screen waiting to START in cycling activity.
Normally we do that for GPS to sync but this time I left it for some more time as I was preparing for the ride. The screen kept trying to go down the menu by itself and even trying to go up to start the session was impossible.
I have not tried to reproduce since this bug so I do not know if this is spontaneous.

@markman8
no water/liquid on the screen ? it has strange effects some times -
@Mff73 No. I checked it twice.
-
@isazi Hello, after updating to 2.37.34 last week, the watch started to reset to safe mode and wrote firmware error 1504, I don’t know if it’s critical?
-
@dzembronja may indicate some hardware issue, contact support

No, after that I pressed ok, it started working, there is another problem after the update when I turn it off, there is no vibration when I turn it on, as it was before, for example, do not disturb, turn on the vibration, there is no vibration when it is turned off, there is also a problem with charge consumption after synchronization, this will be fixed in the next update, right? -
@isazi You say this is all not critical with that firmware error, right? And the high battery consumption after synchronization will be fixed, right?
-
@dzembronja if it happened only once and it’s now fine, sure, maybe a glitch. If it happens again contact support. The drain issues should be fixed this month.

Same Here. Looks that here is no solution about this… Have the same Problem! @isazi case for Support to repair?

After some days “testing” this issue I think that it is related with ambient light sensor sensitivity… Does any Admin knows if they modified something on that sense in the last update? seems like now the backlight does not turn on when ambient light is higher than “X”. The problem (according to my tests) is when you have the watch facing a well lit area (a window for example) BUT the area where you are is not so well lit…
Examples:
- Running through a dark forest with sunlight coming in from the side where you wear the watch, but the other side of the forest being very poorly lit.
- Sitting in the office with the watch facing a window…
-
@Luis-Andés-Olmedo i sent it today to repair!
-
@GiPFELKiND I was expecting to be a SW issue . So you’ll be for 2 weeks or so without watch?
-
Do we know if Suunto will rework how the watch is calculating steps? It’s often show 30- 50% less steps compared to other watches for me (Garmin and Samsung)
Today my Vertical have 4739 steps, and my Galaxy Watch 7 8010. -
@Iggge It’s already shows 30% less steps than in previous updates. In past I took my hand in air and it count 5 steps already. I would say for moving arm its perfect, not add steps. But for moving, You really need to move hand while walking to add steps.
-
@Tami999 My Vertical was a little bit sensitive before, I remember. Brushing my own teeth was like running a marathon according to the watch! (joke).
But I rather have the watch like it was before. Like it is now it’s like I never move.
Me and my wife often compare our steps at the end of the day and since the new update I always lose, and by alot.Somedays I just switch watch to see if it’s me that has become lazy or not!
