S5 peak unpairing by itself
-
Hi all, I´ve got a S5 peak for a month. Every time I want to track an activity with the HR band the watch will use only the onboard wrist sensor, even if I disable it in the activity track options and select only HR band, and after the activity the watch will unpair itself from the smartphone and it won´t be able to find the S5 or sync with it. I have to remove the app from the list of connected devices in the watch and pair it again to the suunto app to be able to connect it to the smartphone. This happens no matter which phone I use. I´ve tried the soft reset and hard reset with no difference. Can anyone throw some light in this mistery?

@Meneillos It would help to know what OS on the phone and which HR belt are you using?

@scafroglia93 Sorry I am on iOS, someone using Android should be able to help.

@Meneillos sorry but i don’t get it.
Your S5P is connected/linked with your Android phone, right?
Then you need to link, your external HR band with your S5P
https://www.suunto.com/Support/Product-support/suunto_5_peak/suunto_5_peak/features/pairing-pods-and-sensors/Finally, every tiene you want to record an activity, wear the HR band, and press Exercise -> Run (or any other activity type) and wait for GPS and HR band.
I have never had a problem with that
I hope this helps
