speculations and rumours about upcoming Suunto watches

@dombo Also in the club

Iāve seen but been to stupid to not take any screenshotā¦
All I guess is that next watch to come wonāt necessary be my next one !
I am so pleased with my S9Bā¦but wait for only few things to change it :- better GPS precision (a friend uses a fenix 7 and his tracks are always smoother et more precise than mine). Compared to my old A3P, the thing I miss the most is a precise and reactive instant pace/speed. Multiband should help.
- better screen and size, with suunto legendary robustness, design, et ergonomy !
- Better autonomy
- using more than one App, and possibility to launch an app durign an exercice (safe and weather for instanceā¦)
- wrist power (as it is already available on S9PPā¦no question on that)
- maps (but not my first wish) ?!
My bet is that Suunto wonāt do less than that on their next flagship ! I donāt need more !
[edit] And I forgot : a 24mm strap so I could re-use my whole strap collection !!

@Kosta Iāve seen a picture but donāt want to share it because the user who send it to me is no longer part of the forum.
-
@Mitch9 I have also seen a photo but I will not share it because for me it would be disrespectful to the dedication of the people of Suunto. So I can only offer my limited opinion based on a picture and my āno spoilerā attitude

Please, no
-
@Tieutieu largely concur but some like gps accuracy is already good with S9PP. But a slightly larger display with ability to run more than 2 apps at the same time would be a neat certain purchase for me. Maps are nice to have but not a deal breaker.

Just to reassure you no user has ever been deleted by moderators/admins.
But you can self destroy yourself. -
@sartoric āand my āno spoilerā attitudeā

I changed S9B for S9P and after some use I get used to the smaller screen but also to the confortability of the S9 Peak and now S9B and S9P cover my needs so I donāt imagine what new feature would drive me to change to new watch model.
If the new watch is bigger than S9P (similar to S9B) probably will be less confortable and now Iām very used to S9P size (S9P is my āall dayā watch). If the new watch is similar in size to S9P and 9PP I donāt find any reason to changeWaiting for specificationsā¦

Hello all!!
I only ask for a little respect with the leaks or else I will delete the postā¦ a lot of work and a lot of enthusiasm from a lot of people who are playing behind thisā¦ so please wait for official news and respect the work of so many people.
Have a nice day!!
First of all thanks for your awesome work on the community and Suunto team on it.
I understand all the work it involves on a launching (worked on it also), but honestly I think Suunto could really profit of that. It is annoying for sure for those who worked on it, but on my side it annoys more to see posts deleted everywhere (facebook, Reddit, Suunto forum). If there were more leaks it could create even more envy/ desire to wait for the watch. But itās ok. As speculation on one side I think it could be a big mark for Suunto (otherwise they would keep the s9 naming).
Really hope to see more integration with Suunto coach , with suggested workouts (like garmin) based on Suunto coach, and for sure some kind of mapping (donāt need to have all continents on the watch, but a big zone, maybe downloaded from the app ).
Also that the annoying resources ābugā and sleep times get better.
Keep the good work

Does anyone remember how long it took between the first leaks of the S9 and the official release? It was something like 2 weeks, right?
Anyway, canāt wait to see whatās coming next. -

Letās see. -
@AndrĆ©-Faria I guess itās going to be like s9p: mid-may announcement and mid-june pre-orders ship. If i recall correctly.
-
@DMytro that would be odd if the product is already at some retailers.
-
@DMytro Zegama is on May 14 if I remember well so, it would be a good moment to show the new watch in the Golden Trail Seriesā¦

Since some retailers have stock I want to believe they will launch it mid may and ready to buy.
As I said in other thread , in my opinion a great strategy, for example on garmin side, the fr 965 was launched but they announce 3 weeks of waiting and almost no stock (at least in stores that sell to france) which is annoying. When there is a novelty most people want it asap. -
@DMytro some shops already have them in stock (and leaked it). This makes me believe that your assumption is wrongā¦at least I hope so
-
The sooner itās released, the better, as I want to see the new S9PP fw, and I assume it wonāt go public before the watch is official.
-
talking about leaksā¦ I think thereās not so much glue left and I should soon avoid to take my watch to waters
-
@freeheeler Ouch! Lost seal?
