new 5 peak not working
This is really pathetic!
Just received a brand new 5 Peak from www.suunto.com.
Open the box, press upper right button, screen remains black. Connect the watch to the Mac (13.0.1), run the SuuntoLink, which suggests to reset the watch and update the firmware from 2.20.30 to 2.20.30. Green circle runs around almost to the 12 o’clock but not quite and remains there for 15 minutes. Then the “update fail” message follows. Soft reset, hard reset no-matter-what-reset: the watch screen keeps telling me that " the watch is being restored to a safe state. In progress"
I’m closing this thread as there is no real question in it.
I would contact support to report this
@falko This watch does not work with Suuntolink so do not connect it to the Mac. Try a full charge then reset and connect to a mobile device. If the watch does not restore then contact support.
