But then, Suunto have others functions that are extremely clever and useful.
they are?
@cosme-costa said in S9PP review from a non-target audience:
BTW you complain about the toughness of the watch but have you put it to test? I believe it is only your feeling, I want facts and pictures.
No, but you can hammer on your S9PP and then we can see what will happen, mine goes back to amazon…well, time will show, you will have probably some owners here who will post they experiences about it, me not.
@cosme-costa said in S9PP review from a non-target audience:
Then you say you expect more from the watch because of the price and latter you say long live to the garmin 7x solar saphire, here you have lost part of your credibility IMHO.
well, in Germany we say: who buy cheap it buys 2 times (Suunto 9 PP is expensive in price, but cheap in all other ways)

@cosme-costa Great answer. And the guy also says that he would “use the smartphone instead”. I mean that says it all. It’s nice that he has his opinion, everybody can have their opinion. But there isn’t much to take away from it. He clearly doesn’t have much to say from the constructive criticism point of view.
well I am at least not so stupid to keep this low quality peace of recycled tech, sine I am not fan boy or bronze member as …

One can only wonder why you bought it in the first place then…

probably expected after good experience with SA3P after a 7 Y that the 9 will be worth…but it’s not

Discuss it, ok, that’s why we are here, but ranting about small details, that’s not ok, people should take a step back and think. Is a watchface font really important ? Two misplaced pixels are really a problem ?
YES…now maybe you put your expectations very low, but please consider that other maybe would have a bit more quality, watch is not for free and for 499eur I do expect much more
Expecting more was I slogan during my Spartan ultra/s9b age.
I still remember the discussion that we made for requesting vo2max on s9b.
But after my s9p, I enjoy the first phase of the product, you can see how Suunto reacts to stabilize their flagship watch time by time, it’s fun, and some exchanges are precious and worth the money. (But telling someone the difference between s9b and s9pp is worthless)
I’m sure s9pp will become stronger it’s why I highly recommend ambit3peak user to buy s9pp, it’s a totally new journey.
If there’s a new watch
I’ll be the first in line
(But it better work this time) -

:))) I like how you see the things, and hope S9PP will develop good, however I can not be a part of this journey

Fusedalti, fusedtrack… Tell me the ones in your garmin, without equivalent in Suunto. I hope you like your new standard of accuracy.

I expect your video hammering the Garmin 7X, don’t worry for the price tag should resist, or not. I haven’t seen any complain of people with S9P (same case than the S9PP) about durability and the watch is in the market for more than a year so, again no facts from your side.
well, in Germany we say: who buy cheap it buys 2 times (Suunto 9 PP is expensive in price, but cheap in all other ways)
This again is your feeling/opinion, in my opinion a Coros Vertix 2 (I had one in my hands) or Garmin 9XX, both feel cheap/toyish in materials compared with my S9B but I’m sure are great watches and tough enough. Both are opinions not facts.

fusedtrack
fusedtrack is removed from S9PP right?
-
@zhang965 I think so, they can do the same only with the gps chip, but anyway is a cool feature that Suunto made (still in S5/S59/S9/S9B/S9P) and competitors haven’t matched.

yo dude…are you going to show me your old omega watch story as well?
we are talking about S9PP, nothing about S9B…
-
@A Former User I’m afraid I digress. Polar does OHR as it should, both during sport and resting. I moved to a Vantage from a Spartan Sport WHR baro a couple of years ago and it’s like night and day between the two brands.
-
@zhang965 Never had an Omega, only some Casio and Festina
-
@cosme-costa Fusedalti, fusedtrack are very good examples of Suunto. Fusedspeed is the best future for me. No other manufacturer can even come close to keeping up at the moment. It probably isn’t sexy enough for Garmin. The S9PP is just too small for me.
-
@A Former User Wow you really didn’t like your Suunto! Isn’t it great you can just return it and no one will force you to wear it anymore? Nice.
Here is your new link for Garmin. I’m sure they will enjoy your factual feedback once you spend $500 more on your Fenix 7: https://forums.garmin.com/outdoor-recreation/outdoor-recreation/f/fenix-7-series
Be warned though, there are a lot of people who are complaining about their Fenix 7, and seems like a LOT of bugs! One guy even says he prefers his Apple watch! Good lord. Poor Garmin. Hope your experience is better. Good luck!

is this also Suunto feature??? Or EU customer protection law???
The bone with garmin 7 was trowed for suunto fan boys…nice that it has workedNo, I will stay with SA3P as long is supported and once they stop it, I will consider to chose something what better suits me and works without issues, bugs, bad design choices, and does not look as lgbt wannabe outdoor watch
