      Hello,
      Is it possible to use a stopwatch during an excercise? To run it like other options with a middle key when I’m training.

      Watch: Suunto 9 Peak
      FW: 2.18.18

        @orzechszek No, stopwatch is not available. What you can do is add a lap timer and press the lower right buttin everytime you want to set the timer to 0:00

          in fact, stopwatch or countdowm is working during an activity, BUT NEED TO BE LAUNCH before the activity 🙂
          Which has not much sense for stopwatch, as there is no screen with time counting in activity.
          For countdown, it can be launched just before activity, for any reminder, and will pop up screen for end of time during the activity.
          Specific process, but it can be used. (i never did 😉 )

            @Mff73 O… I never knew that 😮
            Can you also control the stopwatch/timer during the activity this way?

              you can’t control anything else than the countdown end screen (to start again the countdown or to reject). If you miss the screen … 🙂

                in fact, it is quite logic : in watch mode, you need/want to launch any timer or countdown. And, unfortunetely, you decide to go for an activity :).
                the watch keeps the initial actions running.
                for stopwatch, unfortunetely, you won’t be able to stop it during activity (i didn’t manage 😉 ), just countdown could be interacted at the end.

                  To add to answers above. I’m genuinely curious how you’re planning on using an additional stopwatch during activities. Maybe there’s another solution for you.

                  Technically just starting/pausing an activity and looking at elapsed time has a similar function as a stopwatch… But if there’s a more specialized use case, maybe a custom sport mode field with lap timer works, like others said above. But if your activity requires a fully functional stopwatch (start/pause/reset) then it’s almost like you’re tracking an activity inside another activity.
