Time of activity is reduced from actual
-
I have been wondering for a while how my official time on races could be so different (multiple seconds higher) than what I have on my Peak 9. But I have now seen that the time when I paus an activity (my actual time), is not the same as my saved time. Once I have stopped the activity and it is saved on the watch (before any syncing). The time is reduced. Today it went from 22:30 to 22:22, the official time of the race was 22:30 which means that I had started and stopped the watch correctly, but the watch to some trimming that I am not interested in.

@andreas78 Hi, I think this is the same issue I already reported here : https://forum.suunto.com/topic/7662/2-4-seconds-missing-from-running-workouts
Are you using Android or iOS? -
There are cases of recorded time on watch and on app not matching. This will be fixed with next firmware update.

I isazi moved this topic from Suunto app and other software services on

@taziden This seems to be the same issue, I did look around for a thread before posting but it is difficult to search for this issue. I am running iOS, but the cut happens in the watch, before sync. I am looking forward to a firmware update to see if this is resolved.

@isazi Excellent news, do you have an ETA on the release?
-
@andreas78 can’t say.
-
@isazi @andreas78 the Customer support told me is coming quite soon ( i contacted them for an issue and they suggested I waited for the update before sending it over which they said is coming soon)
so maybe in the next month or hopefully less

@thanasis correct. This is fixed. Very easy to reproduce with the triathlon mode
