Suunto 9 Peak Pro?
-
@freeheeler I also noticed that pressing “lap” in pool swim activity results in this strange behavior: every time i press lap button distance gains with a random number
Pressing another time maybe result in 58m… -
@renton82
pool swimming distance is motion triggered (in a way), does that happen when you keep very still, too?edit: …ah, I see… 31m is not a standard pool length … long day today
what pool lenght did you enter in the start menu? -
i change my today the old s9p with the s9pp and make my first run with the footpod stryd. everything works fine, but there is no more automatic sync to stryd from the SA. Any Idea ?!
-
@Set_218 weird, maybe just a delay? I couldn’t run today because of $job but so far all my runs were sync’ed to stryd powercenter even without the stryd pod, just using S9PP wrist-based power.
-
@Set_218 if you haven’t used it in a while, go to the Stryd app, disconnect from Suunto, and then reconnect. New activities from that point on should sync.

i hope for a delay. i disconnected now and reconnect it with stryd + Suunto SA . but on my last 2 runs on monday + tuesday with the s9p everything works fine. Now the first Run with S9PP it doesn`t sync.
-
@Set_218 Can Stryd sync with 2 devices simultaneously? If not, make sure it is NOT connecting to the S9P, so disconnect/delete Stryd from the old watch, then restart new with pairing to S9PP?

From the old one is everything deleted

@freeheeler 25m

@renton82
your settings seem to be fine… this should not happen -
@freeheeler Isn’t it better that lap button would remains disable during pool swim? What is it for?
-
@renton82
my wife does swim and what I’ve learned from her is that they do different sets of trainings in one session. she doesn’t use it at all (manual laps). but if somebody is very interested in a specific swim style and distance and time: I think that’s what it is for…
I thought you use it like that, don’t you? -
@freeheeler For now i’ve only trying to simulate a pool swim activity, i barely use Suunto for pool swim since i can’t log my drills.
-
@renton82
Swimming - use of lap button.
Don’t have the S9PP, but for the watch I do have I use it determine the rest intervals between swimming intervals. i.e. swim 10 laps, then press lap button which puts watch in rest mode, then press lap button which starts recording the next interval set etc. -
@Jamie-BG Even if you press lap button, watch doesn’t go in “rest mode”, if you start a new lap without touching anything, it continues to count
-
For me, the lap button in swim mode is useless at all, since only automatic laps are unloaded in TP. I use the arrow screen to track intervals in the pool.
