Suunto 9 Peak Pro?

@isazi you dont read what i am saying or maybe i do not know how to express my thoughts:). It is loud and not much stronger (my opinion, but i am not a tester). If i want loud on my wrist then tone/sound would be preferred. Sorry but the vibration feels cheap and prefer s9p more.

@mountainChris Arrggg…still waiting for my Ti Slate pre-order delivery to Canada. Was supposed to come tomorrow by the DHL website just posted a big red ‘Exception Notice’ on delivery and its stuck in Amsterdam. Guess no trail running with Suunto for me this weekend.
-
@mountainChris matte titanium is perfect finish for my taste. Enjoy your watch.

Agree for vibration, it is a bit stronger but the vibration itself is loud, like cheap loud.

@krakra I always report to Suunto bugs and comments, even when they don’t affect me

But that should be written in huge letters on the box
I usually don’t read this part of the manual either
… sometimes it would be interesting to read the “why” -
@freeheeler You are right, but I would have understood it as the typical general warning. I guess that some of the S9PP users will come from the S9P and may have spare cables. Being apparently the same, I would recommend to specifically warn about the risk of using the older cable or any other with strong magnets. Maybe it is not so difficult to do in the online web.
IMO

Sleep HR values extraordinary high, especially in the beginning where is deep sleep. I think there could be something wrong. Not comparable with S9B. I also have interruptions during sleep. Graph shows gaps. Which value is displayed in warming up phase of sensor in HR widget? Average from last measure? Is this counted in? Think this will be corrected. Still early days with S9PP.
The number on the widget is always jumps up in the beginning in first 1-2s and after 10-20s it falls to correct values…

@Efejota
fully agree!
if you can damage a product with an accessory from the same supplier, to me (personally!) it would be mandatory to either put a huge warning sign on the accessory itself or better: design the new interface so it doesn’t accept the potentially dangerous accessory.
that’s my own view from machine engineering perspectiveedit: it is solved by software, as we have learned only short time later

@freeheeler i ineed grap old s9p cable and use it but i got error on watch that i should use original cable. Did i damaged battery, or any other part of watch. 🤯
-
@krakra
I suppose you didn’t, as you didn’t get any other error message -
@Efejota there is NO risk for the user. If they connect the old charger, a screen comes up saying something like “CHARGER NOT COMPATIBLE REMOVE”. And that’s it.
-
@krakra no that error message is there for this exact reason, to let you know that you cannot charge with the old cable.
